This is my rotary engined Sylva Striker I built in 1998, painted in Dodge Viper blue. It was a rush to get it done before the dreaded IVA came in to force.
It's got a Turbo 2 Fc engine without the turbo, bridgeported by myself in 2000 using scaled up drawings from pictures in a Mazda book.... it does work and sounds great https://youtu.be/GGOypBweoso
Racing Beat alloy flywheel but still on a standard clutch.
I'm just in the process of upgrading the cooling system to a Davies Craig pump and Franklin water pump adapter. The old copper core rad I had made caused a lot of headaches so a nice shiny alloy one is ready to go.
The straight through flame thrower exhaust is home made, reasonably quiet...... I crammed in as much stainless wool as I could.
Discs all round, EBC greens, Hi-Spec four pots up front with a brake bias contraption.
A nicer interior to the usual Strikers, hand brake where it ought to be.
Windscreen's getting 4'' lopped off in the near future, looks stupidly big now. Not a fan of helmeted driving so it has to stay.
3 1/4'' taken off screen, it looks much better now. Read more ยป
