Q&A about Wolf software & "HELP FILE NOT FOUND"
I am tuning a 13BT engine using a laptop with the latest software down loaded from Wolf:
http://www.wolfems.com.au/products/e...egiudeshortcut
When I click the "Help Icon" at the top of the screen or from the menu I get a error message "W3dv4.HLP help file cannot be found". I searched my drive in explorer and turned up nothing. I also searched the web and www.wolfems.com and could not find Wolf's own file on their own site. Thanks Wolf!
I am turning to here to figure out what some of the functions on Wolf's software are.
At the bottom of the screen, where the gauges are, there is one named "Idle Value" and another named "Fuel". I think that the "Fuel" is the amount of time in miliseconds that the injectors are currently staying open, but I cant find an explination in any of the guages, though most are self evident.

not sure about the file not found, i think there might just not be a help section in the wolf software, but the "fuel" that you are talking about that is over the red bar, represents the "world map value" that you are running of injector one while you are "online" with your ecu.
If you notice when your tuning, your adjustable range is 0-15.99, well that is exactley the value that is being represented in real time by that bar, and the number read out below it. As a side note, the world fuel scale is taken from injector 1. Your staged injectors do not change this figure, it is possible for your world map value # to actually go down, and still be adding the same amount of fuel (or more)due to the staged injectors coming online.
for the idle, I believe that is an auxillary setup to control a bac, for idle adjustments due to load changes while idleing. It might only be available on the plus?? i haven't used it so im not sure
