Talking

Hey George is that the Plugin map with just your fuel and ignition mods? How did it run? I was also interested in your water temperature compensation. How was the logger to use?

Talking wolf map with logger....

Logger is very very convenient.... fings lean and rich places amazingly. I used it only for a trip of som 40 km, but it worked fine. I have some issue to start it up. In the sense. I have to have the wolf software off.... connect laptop, click on the logger, turn on ecu....quickly... get the wolf software running or else it will not connect.... but once i got the hang of it ....waheeyyy.
Very handy and useful tool. pity my wideband is an LSH24. I cant fing any data sheet for it though. i think the lsm 11 will and is the most accurate
but.... today its raining and i fly to sicily in a couple of hours.... hope over christmass will do some tuning driving

what about the temp compensation?

I got some serious issue with my post start enrichment.....its a sucker to start hot!!!

Michael.... I have been madly desperately searching for the Bosch LSH 24 data sheet....anyone?

So I can calibrate the logger with the o2 sensor till i get the LSM11 in january from the uk from the wolf convention...

My hot start post start enrichment works for me. My cold start sucks. It runs good hot but runs lean and stalls cold. The connect problem I don't have any trouble with at all, however sometimes on startup it locks up the program on the laptop. I don't know why but I know it is a interface problem when the battery voltage from the ecu drops below 10.5 volts. The hot start problem is easy to solve if you have flood clear working. I bet if you push the gas flat until flood clear is active it will start within seconds!!! I have a a similar problem if my car stalls when hot, but I know that if it does I just push the gas to the floor before cranking. I think that at low rpm(just above cranking we are putting in too much fuel.
Merry Christmas

hmmmm well my cold start is a breeze!!! but it sucks to start her hot. I do use flood clear....but it still takes a lot of cranking!

on the poststart enrichment, i reduced the augmentation to just 2 %. i must get and post my last map.

Cold she starts stoichiometric to rich.... then goes pig rich. i cant get her to start when hot. i think i may have some oil plug fouling too though. my metering pump...fc, is set at full throttle and it dumps oil like crazy. that is, about 200ml in about 35kms!!!

Hey George,
Italian isn't my strong point http://xoomer.virgilio.it/faqqde/FAQ/FaqSondaLambda.pdf
has some info in it that may help us can you translate the bit around the O2 data for the lsh24 please.

Howwellllll the hound dog is on the sent of lsh24 data........I need to know which map is for the LSH 24 is it the current map or the voltage map or both????

Can you get hold of a throttle rod for a S4 for your oil pump?? I still bet that it is flooding. The other option is to turn post start enrichment off. If your air temp sensor doesn't suffer from heat soak you may not need it! Have a look at my post start on my map it is all out in about 30 seconds. Where my car then stalls if it has been sitting for more than 10 minutes, a second start fixes that. I really need to have my air temp sensor where it will not suffer from heat soak.

Hi Michael....
saw your pm now... dozed off. Actually i had found that pdf format....but stupid me never read all the way down. Its a threat on voltage versiur afr. these two tables are the most relevant....

The rest is all info and dyno charts for the BMW gs bike. apparently, these are the tables and data....

hope they are clear

Hi George this is a little worrying. What Voltages do you see on the hand controller when you start. On the wideband AFR using the handset does the AFR show say 13.1 with the voltage being 0.03 volts if that is the case the AFR's could be reversed to what the Wolf says. Now I know the wolf uses current to measure AFR's so that will complicate things even more. When you add more fuel does it show a Richer Mixture.

Thanks for the info by the way?

Cheers .... I will have a few beers and eat some good Italian food.
Also Ingham is know as "Little Italy" as it has a very high number of Italian families. I can understand spoken Italian but can't speak it. I will have to brush up on my Italian and Spanish.

Have a happy day

Lightbulb

George if you can get a log with the lsh24 so that I can have a look at the voltages it may help. The Lsh 24 looks like you will not be able to get it to work as the wolf actually measures the current for the wideband. For the narrow band the wolf measures voltage. Also the lsh24 and lsm 11 have the same cable connectors.
