Looking for a copy of Wolf 3d Version 3 Software

Ok I am on the bum again I can't find my floppy of my very first version of the version 3 software. After my computer died and I recovered my software the old program doesn't work and I would like a copy please. Can anyone help?

Cheers

are you running windows XP Mike? I found that the old ver software only ran on XP if you turned on compatibility mode.. or else it would crash everytime you attempted to run it...

But either way, I'll .zip up the old software for you once I get home from work tonight and put it up...

I did get the old software working in 2000 and xp though in the past so that it would actualy read and write to the memory cartridges using pportalk ... I can give you the procedure if youre interested as well..

Thumbs up

Hi Chris that would be great!!! I know that the ports on XP didn't allow direct control like the old software used but I am working on a Wolf support web site and this info would be just the sort of info that would be great!!! Would you like your info placed on the web????

You will find a PM in your inbox.
Cheers

Still working on it I need to do a little more with the tools section. I hope to have all the old Wolf stuff V3 maps V4 Maps and software V500 Software. There is a tables and sensor section. I hope to have it up within the month and I am no web designer just the basics.

Cheers

You need to run it in compatability mode for XP Right click on the shortcut /Properties

Compatabilty Tab and set to run as Win 98. Now there is a hack Kindly provided By Chris Ng to run the Memory cable on XP. http://members.shaw.ca/wolf3d/
You will find a List of files all the tools required are on Chris's Site .
You need to thank Chris for that Hard work.
