PARKING
Orleans is providing an area that will be watched very closely in the West Parking Garage. We will be parking in the area where the executives of the Hotel park. It is well patrolled and the cameras do work. Security is planning on having a foot patrol thru the parking area along with random vehicle patrols.
In the coming weeks we will update the art work and post some additional information on the meet.
Swag will be available after the first of the year as soon as the new graphic design is ready.
WHiV 2010 was a great time as we had 80+ rotor heads from the following states
California
Arizona
Nevada
Washington
Oregon
Utah
Texas
Wyoming
We are anticipating folks from as far away as New York for 2011 so mark those calendars and
plan a trip to Sin City and join fellow rotor heads for what should to be a memorable (or not lol) weekend
A website was started last year but not sure if I can post it
Please post up any questions, perhaps if this thread develops enough activity it could be pinned where
more ppl will see as it has already expanded beyond just the west forum
I'll post of the group rate code once we have it

Just curious if any of the places to be attended are 21 and up? I want to come out but the wife is only 20 haha, we're youngins I know. Vegas would be a good vaca and family close by! Anyways once I know this I can start prepping the car for the trip from VA to Vegas.

is the only place where age is an issue. While the days are more family friendly the evenings are a free for all for guests to enjoy what Vegas has to offer

They totally have places to drop off your kids there! Your wife could play with other 20yo people, there would be climbing castles and coloring books it will be so much fun! Just remember, pack her a lunch and a change of clothes >.>

Just wanted to update the community,
The event is coming up. The host Circus Circus has reached out and is providing a HUGE tent in the back for the event. Zappos is holding an event Prior to WHIV, so this is creating new opportunities. If someone would like to be a Vendor, reach out to Ray (13x).
The better the turn out, the better chance we have for CCLV to host the event next year. Many people know me, I have been around the rotary scene for many years now. I also work for MGM Resorts which owns Circus Circus which has helped us get the "in" with the property.
I understand that current gas prices are not helping, but all in all should be quite affordable. We wanted to keep this a family event with the private patio off of the Adventuredome for easy access to the show along with the 2 for 1 all day admissions. On top of that, Its Vegas and you can buy beer at the show!
Anyways, heres to hoping we can have a great turn out. If you have questions about the hotel or venue you can also PM and I would be happy to assist Ray in answering those questions.
Thanks,
Shaun
