What would you pay for this car?
Here are the before shots:
here are the after shots:
Car is a 1990 GXL. Its got 81k on it, I've changed the oil every 3000 miles. It may have the stock GXL wheels on it when I sell it. The interior is perfect, save for the plastic panel covering the passenger side mirror bolts on the inside. The black plastic lip in the front is torn on the driver's side. Car is mechanically perfect, the accident damage missed anything of mechanical signifcance. I was thinking of offering it for $1000. Is this a little high or no?

I wanted to fix it but it costs way too much to repair it and I can't transfer everything from this car to a new shell due to a lack of space. I can't have a junk car sitting in my parent's driveway. I'm taking the performance stuff out but thats pretty much it.

I was looking over my shoulder on I-5 to change lanes and when I looked back the car in front of me had stopped so I swerved to avoid them, cause it was far too late to brake. My back end started to slide towards the car I swerved to avoid so I tried to correct it but ended up having the back snap back. I looped the car across 3 lanes of traffic, hitting a Cadillac in the process, hence the damage. As far as a new quarter panel goes, I can't afford to get it installed or anything. The bill from the body shop was over $3000, not including my rear defroster, power antenna, or anything else that may be broken inside the car.

I would like to part it out but my dad would kill me if I had a junked car in the driveway and I need a car and to get a car I need to sell this one for a down payment. So basically I have to sell it as a whole. I am asking this question because she will be up for sale in a few months when I have money to get a new 7.

That's the question... does it drive?
That makes transporting a million times easier...
PM me and I can give you some tips on what you should do with it, I know the problem with a parent not wanting junk'd cars sitting around... although I still have one, I was just real smooth with how I went about keeping it haha. Anyway, PM me.

$1000 isnt a bad price............some people say to part it out.....you can make more money by parting it out, but then thats just 1 more fc that is destined for the crusher!! the body damage isnt all that bad.....a new quarter panal, taillight and some paint..and shes as good as new......... give someone a chance to revive her before parting her out

Its not drift damage. My first thought was that it sure looked like that but its from swerving to avoid someone stopped on the freeway and then spinning across 3 lanes, hitting a Cadillac in the process. Yeah, fun times.
