RIP Mark. Your contributions to the Rotary community will be remembered forever.

if any of you had any doubts, if you met Mark in person you would probably change your opinion of him. he was one of the nicest members of the 7 community, we all have a slightly different face on any forum but i just wanted to throw that out there. sometimes we say things just to be accepted by the majority.
R.I.P. Mark, you will be missed.
i'll be out for the funeral services.

WHY GOD OF ROTARY!?!?!?!?! WHY!?!?
Icemark was one of the guys who would reply to my noob problems!
i got happy seeing the agent logo in my threads, cause i knew i had a direct answer for sure
but getting on just to see that this Rotary God had passed away means that The Mighty God of Rotary and all things Badass needed help with his FC.
May this awesome man who left this world be buried with a fresh set of apex seals to bring above..
i would come to the service, i just don't have money or the time to drive out [~1 day drive to and alot of gas]

This is a horrendous loss for all of us. I swear, just last week for entertainment, I pulled up some Icemark posts and couldn't stop laughing at his hilarious, no BS replys, especially when he tries to set some newbie straight. **** the guy has nearly 26000!! posts and they were all packed with valuable contributions. Not many are willing to dedicate themselves so selflessly to the Rotary. Fortunately his insightful comment will live on.
My condolences to Icemark's family & loved ones.

A very sad day, my prayers go out to his family.
Doing something in his memory at 7stock would definitly be appropriate.
R.I.P Ice Mark - Nor-Cal and the rotary community wont be the same.

Amen to that man, I'm not going to lie, the rotary community has become my second family and losing someone really does make a blow. Love him or hate him we're all part of the rotor family.

Damn....I just checked in to the site to see what was going on and didnt believe it at first when i seen this thread!
This guy knew absolutly everything about FC's! There is no way that will ever be replaced! The rotary comunity has suffered a great blow!
Man i remember arguing with him over v8's a few years back it was awesome! He was a funny and very opinionated poster!

hard to believe this is all true. i met Icemark at the last rotorfest, talk about a wealth of knowledge and truely a kind human being. this guy was over the top with knowledge and was not hesitent to give it all to you if you had the ears to hear it. i've read many of his write ups and use his website constantly for info.
RIP Icemark, my prayers go out to your friends and family.
Apex944 and i are starting another thread for people in and around Sacramento to go to the funeral. i encourage everyone around here to come with us, even if you never met the guy, if you own a 7 eventually you'll use info off of here that he has written.

another apex seal chucked from an OEM engine, even if you rebuild it successfully it'll never be the same. Icemark you were one of the OEM seals. without you on 7club, it'll never be the same. never got the privilege to meet you but i definitely respect you for all you've done for the rotary community. you will be missed my man. thanks for everything you've done for us. Mark truly was like family to Berry and me. We, like all of Mark's friends, were rocked by this terrible news. Our thoughts and love go out to his family.
To any/all that will be at the services, we'll see you there.

I just logged on to the rx7club for the first time in two weeks. This was not the first thing I wanted nor expected to read about
I met him at some of the meets over the past few years. He was a great guy and I bought a few electrical parts from him. I just replaced my blinker switch the other day and was planning to give my old one to him at the next meet I saw him at so he could and sell it.
RIP Mark

Wow i was truly not getting on this site to read about this either. i am shocked. I never knew Mark to have any health issues, but then again i never met him. I have only talked to him over the phone because he bought a few things from my RX-7 ebay store and i bought a few things from him. He just bought a wire harness from me just last week. But yes, a very knowledgeable guy, and he will be missed a lot. RIP.

RIP Mark. Your knowledge never ceased to amaze me.
A Great Guy. My prayers go out to your family,
you will be truly missed. It truly says something about
a person when this many people feel such a profound loss....

I had planned on going regardless of my huge Chemistry exam on Monday, but was graced with waking up to being sick as hell Friday morning so I can't make it...I think the 6 hours of being in a car would do me in. I'll be there in spirit supporting Mark.

Same, didn't think THIS would happen of all things to happen...
Either death is a state of nothingness and utter consciousness, or, as men say, there is a change and migration of the soul from this world to another. Now if death be of such a nature, I say that to die is to gain; for eternity is then only a single night. - Plato
