Any and all are welcome. His wife Devin would really appreciate if as many of you guys can make it out.
I will do my best to put anyone up that decides to come out for the service. There are 3 open homes including my own for those that make the trip.
Rest in Peace, Mark. You will be missed.
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to call me @ (707)304-0421

Wow, this is truly sad. Not only is this a tragedy for his loved ones but our rotary community who has lost a great resource and knowledge base that has helped just about everyone on this board and beyond.

My prayers go out to his family.
Mark had taken over for Zach setting up rotary fest a year or two ago, we've definitely lost a member who contributed a lot to this community.

I didn't know Mark in person.
Driving directions to Arcata, CA
371 mi – about 6 hours 17 mins
I don't know if I can afford to fill the tank that much, the fc would cost like 100 dollars to make that trip q_q, atleast if I'm doing the math right.

I've had just about enough of really good people leaving this earth unfairly and unexpectedly. The few times I was around Mark were a pleasure and it saddens me to hear of his passing. Prayers go out to his family. Rest in Peace Mark.

Wow, I never met him but he helped me out when I needed it. People like him make this place better. He will be mised. It still seems like every so often we are reminded how much people mean to us by the things they do. R.I.P. Icemark

This is a HUGE loss to our community
I've also corresponded with him on so many fronts regarding so many projects as he was someone whose advice you could take to the bank without question. And as a vendor, he more than stood behind any part or service he provided. I had a ballast go out on the HID kit I bought from him. I PM'd him where I could get a replacement and he responded by sending me on at absolutely no charge and at his expense.
In my opinion, Marks value to the RX7 community at least at the grass roots level was right up there with Jim Mederer at Racing Beat, Dave Lemon at Mazdatrix, and Nick Van Nugteren at RR&R. Mark was in the most elite of RX7 leagues.
As a man, there are few people that qualify by the description of being genuine. In my experience, Mark was one of those few.
This clearly was a sudden thing. If you do a quick search, you'll see his last post on the forum was around 9:45PM on April 1st. According to comments, he died in his sleep on April 2nd. So he had to have passed within hours of that last post.
Much as I'd like to, I can't attend his funeral. However, I will be sending flowers to the address given. I suggest anyone else who can't attend consider doing the same.
RIP Mark. You will be missed. My heart felt condolences go out to his family.

The service is in Santa Rosa...only about 45 miles north of San Francisco...
