What time is the Midnite Buffet ??

Sorry, but Peter's computers are Modded stock ECU's as I recall, and have a "Tune" embedded on them that's more optimistic (rich) than the stock tune to compensate for removing DP, Intake etc.... and replacing with more free'er flowing units... so unless you knew what to tune for, and then removed the chip, reprogrammed and put it back, It'd be a scam at best...

Stock ECU's aren't reprogrammable... at best they're Chip-able... and then you're looking at something that has nothing to do with what kind of performance or HP you can get on your setup...

So Peter Farrell would be the person to go to, and likely a Power FC is in your future....

You sure he's not talking about the purple engine eater? It's just a piggy back made by some other company. It had a built in boost controller that didn't work at all. You got all kinds of spikes. Either way, ditch it and get a real ECU.

btw, I used to have that ECU. I called around to everyone in SoCal. Nobody wants to get near that thing. If nobody is willing to tune it, it's not worth having in your car.

Brenda.... makes me sad.

I still think about getting another FD one of these days... then I remember the headaches with owning one. No way I can afford LS1, so that's pretty much it for me. Looks like you're the last one to keep your FD. Lemme know if you ever plan to sell her.

TK - I wouldn't even mess with the pfs box, just get an M2 or pettit ecu for the time being and save up for a pfc, which you'll have a lot more support for.
