TRACK DAY: Auto Club Speedway May 29th!
The weather is perfect right now for a track day and the best part is that its in our own backyard... Fontana, CA! I'm trying to gather a serious group of people who want to take their cars on the track so we can get a group discount going.
More info can be found at the official Redline website: https://redlinetimeattack.com/ti/rl/.../20100529.html
Again, I'm currently trying to work out a group deal with Brent from Redline Time Attack. We need at least 6 people for our group to get a better deal and possibly some free stuff.
Please add yourself to the list if you're 100% sure you can attend at least one day so I can see what we can do as far as a discount goes. I'll keep you guys updated on what our pricing looks like but right n

Liken to the Daytona 24hr race track design, the Fontana event at the Auto Club Speedway is the only stop on our schedule which is on part of an actual Nascar speedway.
Fontana, May 29-30. Don't miss out on this rare premium race opportunity.
Saturday and Sunday are HPDE days, which means you can practice all you want in novice, intermediate or advanced sessions, get driving instruction and record your times for over 2 hours each day. And if you wanna stick around for Sunday, you can compete in the class that suits you best whether that be Enthusiast, Street, Modified, or Super Modified.
We welcome cars and drivers of all levels. Whether you have a 1972 stock Datsun or a 1000 w.h.p. Scion tC, there's a class for you to enjoy yourself without anyone getting in your way.
Here are just a few reasons you might wanna join us for our trip to Fontana:
-2+ hours of track time each day
-Professional driving instruction
-Live timing and scoring
-Redline search model contest
-Classes for all skill levels and car types
-Meet the worlds fastest drivers
-See the fastest tuner cars
-Exclusive party at TAO nightclub
Pricing:
Saturday - HPDE / Test & Tune - $250 at gate (or $200 for online registration)
Sunday - Test & Tune / Qualifying / Time Attack- $250 at gate (or $200 for online registration)
Saturday & Sunday Package - $400 for first time two day registrations

So far the best deal I've received is $325 to run the entire weekend but I believe they want at least 5 people committed for us to receive this discount. It breaks down like this: $250 for both days + $75 (license & membership fee) = $325. This includes timing. I'm leaning towards running both days and so is my cousin. So that would make two of us. Im still getting all the details so bear with me. I was told we could also get our own area including food & drinks if we sign up as a group.
Online registration is currently at $225 for Saturday only including the membership fee (no license fee required for Sat). I gotta see if its possible to get a better deal for just this day.
Garage's are probably out of the question for most of us. They cost $300 for 2 car spaces for the 2 day weekend. EZ-Ups anyone?

Hey Guys,
Here's what the pricing break down looks like for a two day driver pass.
Description Price
----------------------------------------------------------- --------------
Saturday HPDE/Test and Tune - May 29-30, 2010 @ Auto Club 250.00
Speedway
Street Tire - FWD - May 29-30, 2010 @ Auto Club Speedway 250.00
2010 Entry Discount -100.00
Online Registration Discount -50.00
ENTRY TOTAL 350.00
New for 2010 drivers with weekend passes get $100 off. Also, WebRidesTV is offering another $100 to first 30 weekend driver sign ups. Of which we've already sold 10.
So the total would be $250 for the weekend after all discounts plus the license and membership fee of $25 & $50. The price total would be $325 for two days. If you refer each other you can save an additional $50 per new for 2010 two day driver sign up bringing the new grand total to $275. Please add the name of the referrer in the comments section at check out.
Also, you can run in the appropriate class on Sunday without being restricted by the rules if you're not interested in the trophy. If you're interested in winning the trophy, you'd have to pass tech for that class.
Thanks and we hope to see you out there.
-Brent
