In light of today's meeting with the fire Marshall, we are given a new set of regulations that we need to meet. We are told today that we need to submit a floor plan for approval, which includes walkways with 20feet room on all isles so that the fire truck can get in and out easily. These things are done with safety in mind, and that all attendees will be able to make it out safely in the event of an emergency and for evacuation purposes. They proposed that if it does rain, the cars would be wet, the ground would be wet, and if someone slips and falls and gets hurt, the fire trucks and EMT needs easy access to come to aid. Further, it would be virtually impossible to bar-b-que in the rain.
With theses conditions, we will be moving the event to April 11th. This will not conflict with the time attack on the 28th of this month, or HIN on The 4th of April. With this decision, it will also give all of the motorcycles attending the event a safe ride without having to worry about rainy conditions. Furthermore, with the hangar already packed with those who reserved spots inside; it will also give the attendees who are looking to show their cars outside in the parking lot, better conditions. We highly doubt that everyone would be ecstatic about showing and waking around in the rain.
We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences in schedules, but we do want to please the majority of those who are attending. It would suck to have such a beautiful location, and not be able to utilize the scenery, and all the things that the naval base has to offer.
Please contact us at SYTFU.INC@GMAIL.COM if you guys have any questions or concerns.
We appreciate your patience and understanding!

so glad bronson could update you guys with the latest info. i have been terribly busy with the marshalls, work, and city hall...
i really hope this will allow people time to reschedule, and possibly get more people to come.
i know me and bronson personally want more rotarys there beside us.

Yup, you heard that right, we are doing it again this year. Last year's events was successful thanks to the 250+ cars, 60+ motorcycles, stunters, and the gigantic crowd from all different forums who showed up to support our event. This year we're looking to make this one bigger and even better than last time; better yet, we are doing this years event with a great cause! We are accepting donations for the Children's Hospital - donations are not required but would be gladly accepted and forwarded on your behalf.. We can't do it without your support! Tell all your friends, crews, brother, sister, mom, dad, grannys, etc! If it gets rained out, we will move the event to the next available sunny weekend. Don't worry, we'll let you guys know ahead of time... we're watching different weather forecasts.
This is a SANCTIONED event by the Alameda Naval Base and the City of Alameda, so as usual, no drama, fighting, burnouts, unnecessary rev'ing, racing, etc... Anyone breaking any rules and causing our event to be at risk of termination will be asked to leave. There will be officers patrolling the area, so we ask you to please be on your best behavior for everybody's enjoyment!
