yes, roughly about $150 for dyno depending on where it is at. RR&R charges $75/hr. Steve won't go over 12psi unless you have upgraded injectors and fuel pump. My stock injector duty cycle were at 90~95% @ 12psi. 285 whp.

so this time around, i gotta get bigger injectors. that's all i really need left for supporting mods to run 15psi.


XS have been known to be a bit inconsistant on the tunes. There are a lot of mix reviews. I've always love XS engineering since they started in Fullerton back in the days, they do great work. but i would only go tune there for tuning if Steve isn't coming for 6 months and i need a emergency tune. Not to mention, their tuning fee is almost double.

I have 1300cc injectors and Walbro pump..350 will cover 14psi then im guessing?

So total is going to be roughly ~$500 for my tune depending where its going to be tuned!!?!!?!(350+150dyno time)

I PMed Steve and he says he can tune my PFS. So that's good news for me and I will definitely have him tune it. In his PM, he indicated that no one had contacted yet about tuning in socal...so this is a for sure thing?

That's good news. Yes this is a for sure thing, and yes I have spoken with him several times by both phone and PM to lock up the date. Maybe he thinks I have not announced a date yet? because that was still up in the air. In any event, it is a go for January 26th and 27th.

i need a good tune to be able to driver and save gas on the street for the monet intill i break my motor in!! anybody with any info

 

This is for motors that are already broken in that are trying to achieve a desired horsepower level, etc. No point in paying $500 to save on gas...

is your car driveable at all? if u have a previous tune that u had, u can still drive it. just don't boost during the break-in period.
