so i just got home im like 90% dead right now!! it was a VERY long day!
here is a breakdown of today:
first, i strapped Derek's car down and we were still having problems with it.. i "donated" my twin power to aid the situation, and it helped a lot compared to what the AEM was doing but didnt fix the problem... Steve Belives its his wires...
then, we loaded on Alex but he had some fuel issues... we took him off after an hour of being on the dyno...
then we were suppose to Load up David (rxheaven) but something very very bad happened.. his read iron was cracked.. the first day that he was on the dyno, he leaked about 1 quart of oil on the ground.. we didnt even notice that until today.. he tired to jb weld it and go back on the dyno but it wouldnt of held together for the long drive back so he didnt dyno today.. good news is that he doesnt have to pull the motor, just the rear iron and replace the water seals on the back..
then, we loaded up jurry with the 20B.... he was making GOOD power!! at 7 lbs, he made numerous 355rwhp pulls... then at the end, i think he fell 2 rwhp short of Max's dyno and made 407 rwhp at 10 lbs... that thing sounded sooo good... it wasnt that loud either (well, what do i know, my car reading the db meter blew out 129 at 7500 rpm!!)
then we finished up Sean's car with the electronic boost controller..
then, we loaded up Baldwin and it took steve literally 25 minutes to tune his car he made 275rwhp close to stock! i was just amazed!!
and we ended up loading alex's car on the dyno.. it was on the dyno for about an hour then the guys at the shop Had to close up.. and it tuned out after another 3 HOURS of trying to make the halteck work outside the shop, we realized that the halteck was bad and the distributor was also bad... so we called it a day at about 10 pm and started the longest trip back to the airport! well, Steve did a great job for everyone and i am very greatful (well, i really dont care about your car's just mine hahahahah J/K)
so, this was the longest day ever and im going to sleep now but it was a great 3 day's...
David, call me tomorrow and i will explain...

Roman's car, Mike's car, and a Benz in front of the shop...
Uh, another shot of my car in the dyno bay...
Baldwin and Roman trying to get high off Baldwin's exhaust, but to no avail... he's still got both cats and still made 275 WHP!
Lots of folks in front of Alex's red FC and Dave's turbo vert

I was pretty happy about my result too. ( mabe I can use some more Dyno time...). but what da hack. I am glad my car is still in one piece. and even thought it did not got thy HP I want it, But aleast I am runing pretty safe ( RICH ALL THE WAY MAN ), and the respond on part throttle is sooo much better than my OLD MAP.......
So overall I am happy. the money well spend...( in my opion).

Yes.... I would first off like to thanks Roman and David for making this possible... and I would like to thanks steve for taking care of each and every car professionally and carefully. I believe Steve is very patient and steady with his work.... never rushed a single car and even though the dyno was closed he started to street tune it.... I am amazed.
also.... steve's tuning made a world of difference in my car.... I don't really care about HP but the smoothness of my car was far better then anything I imagined.
THANKS STEVE!!!!
I would recomend him to anyone and I am really impressed of his fine maps for the PFC!!!

The sound from Jury's car is awesome.... sounds like a Ferrari!
Dave (RX-Heven) wearing his usual white Tshirt... he must have hundreds of them ...... as he seems to wear them often.... or maybe just one.

Well, sounds like a pretty good weekend, with the usual bad luck thrown in. Rear iron is usually detonation, any thoughts Dave? Well, I talked to Precision Turbo today, they will warranty the turbo, I'll take it out this weekend, and send it to them. Should have it back in two weeks, and then it's down to hesperia, to let Dave Segalla finish what he started. Look at my thread( the good...), and it's partner thread "restrictors" on the single forum for the skinny on what I know today, that I did not know on Saturday. Good luck to all. BTW, I went from friday at 6:30 am to Saturday a 10pm without sleeping, and with little food(just forgot to eat at some point) Steve would be so proud of e with my new plugs, and my full fuel set up, complete with 10 gauge wires, two pumps, surge etc. Too bad I did not have that set-up ready for Steve when he was here last, Peace Steve Anyway talk to you all later. Now for my version of the weekend.
After thrashing on my car for 18 hours to get the engine in and running on Friday, I test drive it for the first time at about 11:00 pm that night. No leaks, no problems.
Get two hours sleep, button up a few things and pack, then drive down to LA to be at dyno by 10:00 am. Got very lost as I wasn't able to concentrate worth a **** at this point so I showed up at the dyno at 11:30.
I get the car hooked to the dyno and Steve does his preliminary tuning thing.
After that we verify that the aqamist is working and begin to do some wot pulls.
The car starts breaking up really bad up in the rpms and we attribute that to the water injection. Simply way to much water at this point. I have the Aquamist 2d system so it reads off the fuel injector duty cycle to maintain a constant water/fuel ratio. I was aiming between 15-20% but overshot that.
So we disconnect the water pumps and figure we'll tune for max power without water injection the first day, and tune again with the water the second day as I had signed up for both Saturday and Sunday tuning sessions.
We then did another wot pull and the car ran fine this time through the entire rpm range. Did a couple more pulls and I had pretty much used up my allotted time. The car did 344 rwhp @ 12 psi. I can't remember what the torque ended up being.
I was hoping to get the boost up to 18-19 psi on 91 octane and the water injection but that will have to wait till next time.
Upon backing the car out of the dyno bay, we discovered a huge oil leak. I noticed it came from the same vicinity as it had right before the engine was rebuilt. I never fixed the problem to begin with as I knew the engine was being pulled. Before the engine was torn down, I attributed the source of the leak, incorrectly, to the factory oil pressure sender unit. I've had these fail before and figured it happened again and would replace the sender unit as I reinstalled the engine. Did that. Reinstalled the engine and as was previously mentioned, no leaks. So after pulling the car off the dyno, I quickly conclude that the new snder unit had failed. However, after much closer inspection the next morning, I could see the oil appearing from nowhere just above the sender unit. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
After thoroughly scaring my girlfriend with my fits of rage, we head off with Jury and his wife to the next dyno day.
Jury's 20b put down just over 400 rwhp with huge exhaust leaks, no spark to the trailing plugs and some serious ignition breakup starting at about 5k rpm. He was happy nontheless because I think he completely expected to be trailiering the car home.
I still have to get this leaking like a stuck pig of a car home so I gob on a buch of JB Kwik and hope it holds or at least slows it down. HAHAHAHAHA. Yeah right.
I'm losing about a quart every hour so needless to say I was making plenty of stops along the way home back to SF.
All I can figure is that the engine was reassembled with a cracked rear housing (the original source of the leak) and it did not leak at first with the fresh build because of the new o-rings, silicone or whatever and once the engine was under load for the first time which was on the dyno, it gave way.
I'd like to thank Dave and Roman for organizing this fiasco and of course Steve for doing what he does trying to make everyone happy and never complaining about all the bs he seems to have to put up with from peolpe like me
Speaking of which, I told Steve I wouldn't post it, but I'm a cheat and a liar
Steves money shot....
