Since i got the PFC i want to get most out of it. Will it be worth to tune it with only Intake, DP, Cat Back and SMIC? I would like to keep modification to minimum by not upgrading the injector and fuel pump and add more fuel where the stock fuel system can handle. My car will be mostly street and may see some track day.

Thanks

if you add a SMIC, then yea.... i think you could squeez a little more than 300 to the wheels like that...

You can tune it and get more power. However, you are going to be limited by your fuel. I would suggest these 3 mods for the most bang for the buck.

1. boost controller

2. A set of secondary injectors to put in the primary location.

3. High flow fuel pump.

These are very simple mods to add, and will yield you, in conjuction with your other mods, and a tune about 100 RWHP.

With a Manual boost controller, these mods will cost you under $300 and can done in a day.

Hope this helps.

That comp wheel looks small. It could just be because the housing is so damn big.
What are you hoping for on the dyno w/ pump gas?

I have the same exact kit, and I am putting down 360RWHP at only 13PSI.

I think Roman is going to tune up to 20PSI with his kit. I am going to do the same. We are guessing, based on the current numbers my car is putting down, that the turbo will be good for 400RWHP at about 15-16PSI, and maybe 460 at the 19-20PSI Range? Just a guess could be a little better, could be alot worse.

MM... April 30 seen to far way. but it will coming very fast if you dont plan ahead.

THe thing to do for my FD3S.

Change engine oil, and filter.

Change plugs. plan to use NGK 10.5 racing

Replace my hight flow cat to mid pipe.

I also would like to know. what is every one's Goal on Steven kan tuning? and what every had under their hood.
I will start mine

I had
TRi point Rebuild motors with 3mm seal( replace most of hard parts) mild street port Stoping making power after 7K
HKS T04Z turbo, Blitz intercooler. Toyota Supra pumps(stock wiring) 1350 RC injectors HKS FPR. PFC. HKS twin power. HKS EVC V

LAST time I had XS tune my car. on 14 PSI. I got 400 WHP I am pretty happy with number because I dont like to be a Dyno gueen or Drag special My goal is reliable Power .
Since my LAST dyno. I had following done

Change HKS T04R turbo to HKS T04Z "EXT A/R 1.0"
HPC hight temp Coating on EXT manifold.
Change HKS Carbon TI to RE Amemiya CAT back.

From this Dyno Tune.
I am looking to get 420WHP at 14-15.5 PSI ( reliable HP) if not I will be happy if along as my car run safe condion ,
Be able to Shoot Fire ball at above 6000RPM
Try to learn some stuff from Steven Kan....

well, the reason why the inlet for the blitz turbo looks small is because it has a small 5mm cone coming out... if you compare the size of the blade that is showing, its no smaller than a t62... or simillar.... or the 60-1 i belive it was... its just that its a straight lip on there and the other ones have a cone shaped design... thats why when they put the filter on, it looks really big.... who knows!!

Question for everyone

I need to know if anybody, besides me and Roman, is planning on using race fuel?

If so, please get back to me. I would like to try and have enough on hand for everyone who wants to tune with it. Also, if we buy a large enough quantity, the price will be a little better.

I need to put a car on the waiting list and/or deposit for Sunday. Street tuning would be fine, but would prefer dyno. Steve has tuned this car before also.
Single turbo 20b fd w/ Microtech ltx-12.

I think I may tune on Sunday as well with my vert.
I have water injection and really want to optimize its use which will take some time, maybe more than is available on Saturday. Must use as much water as possible and that requires sizing nozzles during dyno time.

Hey call me knuckle head. I was working on my fuel system last night, and could not get those screws off for rats nest removal. Had to break out the handy dremel tool, and cut the bastard. Anyways, I will probably be putting it all back together on Friday. Just want to see what else I can get rid of.
