hahha! ... well guys just to update this, copes still "editing" the police report as of Friday.

That is one mean handgun, looks like a real wrist breaker!!! Never had a chance to fire one, but that makes me want to throw a few rounds down range for sure.

That blows, at least you got the license plate number. I can't tell you how many people i know that have gone into a store and come out with a big *** dent in their car and not note or anything. I sure hope something good comes out of this.

you can take them to small claims if they dont have insurance and if you prove your case which you will you can sue the **** out of them talk to a lawyer about happens all the time

No lawyers allowed in small claims court, but $5,000 cap on damages you can be awarded. But even if you win, you still have to collect. Based on how you described the other car and drivers, good luck with that.

 

And I sure you know how it happened. If you read what he wrote, instead of skimming the thread looking for something stupid to point out you would come to some logical conclusions.

Sounds like drunk kids to me. I've seen it happen many times in parking lots.

Have you contacted your insurance company yet? They should have been the second place you called after the accident. They will get all the information they need from the license plate and can find their insurance and go after them. They do not need a police report to start. Call them right now. Press hit and run charges against them as well.

 

 

well, if it was my car....it wouldnt be kids backing into my car...it would have been kids backing into the hours and hours I had put into the car....but then again I have a lot of pent up frustration so I would have spun the ****** out, grabbed the driver out of his seat and gave him a proper beatdown...i think I could still make a jury believe it was his fault.

 

First off, Yes I have contacted my insurance. Secondly, the car was taken right to the body shop for estimate and prep. Im not taking my time and bs'ing with this. The damage just hit a shitty spot, if the police give back my polaroid's ill gladly take them to target and have them transfered to digital to post on here. The estimate has the the passenger side front quarter panel, fender, headlight bezel / cover need to be replaced chalking it up to 2056.86 (The cheapest quote that wasnt 1day paint crap).

Waiting on the owners response (got the Police report), sent it to my insurance and they took over. If they have insurance or not; ill get it taken care of. I had the piece of mind to get uninsured moterist WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Anyway, looks like im going to take this opurtunity to paint the FD..... Thanks for the advice, and if I do get those polariod's back, ill do what I can to post sense I got the egggsactly.

i had a smiliar story.. I drove home from la and parked my fc on the street and went in my room. I heard a loud SPLATT then following 2 more. I look out the window it was a purple xb full of white kids. SO I get my keys, and run into my fc and started to hunt them down. Sure enough I find themgoing the opposite direction, busted a u turn and chased the. Wrote down the plate # and chased them some more, they looked very scared and tried to out run my s4 na that hesiates at 3800 rpm lol after chasing em for awhile I thought maybe I should stop what if they lead me to somewhere and gang up on me 6 vs 1.. So I drive home call the police, and told em what hapnd, and they said okay well send somone out to patrol that someones being a nusence... So I dont think the cops did anything to those kids.
The next morning the eggs that hit my car fcked up my paint..It looked like acid burnt thru the paint. After awhile I didnt care anymore, cuz f it its a drift car anyways...

Well.... Turns out they were nice enough to cancel their insurance a month before the incident. (Geeee how'd that get by the DMV -.-) .... My uninsured moterist is going to cover the damage, 2056.93.

As for the polaroid's they got lost, good ole' garden grove police department wins again. The Police report didnt even include the 2 witnesses, or state that their was conclusive video evidence. My insurance company is doing the dirty work now sense they already paid me.

I filled out a S-2 Form (or something like that) when another party hits something... car/property/person where damages exceed 500.00, and the DMV will be notified, especially sense they were uninsured.

They have a long road ahead of them.... I pity their ignorance, and enjoy the sweet revenge of their years to come of suffering. Thanks for the paint job....

Although I wish no one on this forum ever goes through what I did, long painful waiting game.

If the polariod's turn up, they will be posted. The car is already getting repaired. God speed all, and ill post pics of her once shes out and dry
