You weren't there? You mean you somehow missed a chance to hear Sylvain Tremblay and David Haskell of SpeedSource give a talk AND a tour in the SpeedSource garage? The same SpeedSource that won the ST Championship with an Rx-8 in Grand Am last year? Assuming you’re not dead, there are only two valid reasons for having missed out.

Number 1: These guys had you pinned down:

or

Number 2: This girl had you pinned down:

Either one is a valid excuse
Other than those two reasons, you should be ashamed.

I think the silver TII came up from San Diego. It was the one with the custom gauges where the warning lights go.

RotaryNews and MazdaNews have articles on the race where SpeedSource eviscerated the competition. The talk by SpeedSource? PRICELESS!!!

It was nice to meet you Marcus. That's a nice 2nd gen. I meant to ask about the Pineapple polo. Did Rob G. build your motor? He did 2 of mine including the 12a JBP. Very nice work.

My GF said you had a special PRESS access pass? Where do u work?

Later,
Brad

It was nice to meet you too. I’ve never had any work done by Pineapple. Somebody must have given me the shirt. Pineapple’s too far away for me to farm out an engine to them. They’re in Oregon, right? I had mine done closer to home.

I have a press pass because I do some freelance work when I’m not slaving at my real job.

Cool. Yep, they're in Portland. Freight is cheaper than I thought. $150 with their corporate account to Redondo.

Well unless they're $300 cheaper, than anything local it still doesn't make a whole lot of sense, with Mazdatrix, Rotary Power, and Tripoint in town....

Sorry I didnt get back to you Jeff, I had no reception on my phone, then the battery died.

No I didnt see that accident, I wonder who it was?? I think it might have been that one kid that went to our Beach BBQ, well whom ever it is hope their okay, the other party as well.

Get your car running, so we can go cruising.

NO ONE local had cheaper prices on the motor's Rob built for me, I also talked to Pablo Mobius and Ricardo Porta. Plus Rob has built MANY GT-3 motors which is what I went to him for first. Excellent tech support both before, during, and after sale too.

It was amazing the local prices I got on a used rotating assemblies. $200 for a used 12a rotor no thank you blow me.

Don't get me wrong, I trust John @ Mazdatrix to build my motor, but their wait time was long too. Heard mixed stuff about Rotary Power. No regrets at all. Check it out @ Mazfest next month, free ride alongs bring a helmet.
