Hey Jake can I ride shotgun during the meet. My car is out of commission for about 2 months. We meet every second Saturday of the month, hang-out, and go for a cruise throught the mountains. Judging from the sticker on your rear hatch it looks like you still have time to make it next month. That's a clean FD man. What have you done to?
Damon
P.S. I won't be back as socalfct2 until I get my other laptop up and running later this week.

If my car is down here I suppose you can ride shotgun. But I may be leaving it up north this weekend seeing as the gauge cluster isn't working at the moment.
Surprisingly it's got 252k miles lol But thanks, i'm glad you like it.
It has 9.5lb flywheel, hks intake, 3in DP, Apexi GT spec exhaust, Tokico Illumina 5 way adj. shocks, re-amemiy syle tail, 99 spec front lip, greddy IC piping, and aluminum radiator. It was auto when I bought it but I did the swap, pain in the ***. Part of the reason why my gauges aren't working right now.... although they worked for over a year or more, I think I lost my ground somehow. Don't have the tools to fix it here, I may try and fix it in Modesto this weekend. If so I may bring it back down. If not i'll be rolling in a camry, a 911, or an expedition. Whatever the parents decide to let me borrow.

I've got a bunch of electrical tools (enough to build a harness from scratch) in Pomona if you don't want to drive to Modesto. I'd offer to help with your repair, but I've got a few other projects I need to finish first.

I'mmmm back. I finally got one of my laptops to work. Here's a pic of the RE when I got it, then one from the other day after a few hours of fighting about a mile of twin turbo vac line BS. Anyway, I could probably have it resealed and running in about a month or two but with how many houses I've been selling lately I can't decide if I want to save up about $15,000 and go ***** to the wall like Vipers and be the next sevenstock FC king.

By the way live2drive, I'm actually socalfct2 not that *** Michael Night. I followed your FD home in Rancho. True Rotary stalker style. Check my VBgarage to see my FC.

Like a Kosher Pickle? It would be badass to see a couple monster FC's rolling deep through San Berno. Maybe we can grab Robert FC3S91 too. He just really needs a tune and his 400+hp S5 will be done. I don't know though... we don't want to make all the RX8's feel insecure though. J/K guys. A/C and cushy seats speak volumes. I think the only thing that will stop me from saying screw it and putting it together just to get it going, instead of saving up, is my tendancy to become impatient. I saw a kid driving a nice red GTU today and instantly felt the need to go to GMR. Oh well...

WHO: Anyone who owns or drives a rotary-powered vehicle.
At one meet, we had all three generations of RX-7, and plenty of RX-8's. Old schoolers are welcome as well.
WHAT: We meet at 9:00 am, and hang out for a while.
We usually head out for a drive around 9:30 or 10:00, and stop and grab lunch later.
WHEN: Second Saturday of every month.
For the rest of 2005, that will be: August 13, September 10, October 8, November 12, and maybe December 10 (we skipped December last year).
WHERE: Parking lot of Pirate City Tattoo, which is on E Street in San Bernardino, across from Pep Boys.
Map and address can be found at http://www.piratecitytattoo.com/

socalfct2 is officially dead. My wife f'ed up the computer and there's no way
I can see getting it back. Oh well... Time to become a post *****. I've decided to put about 4k into my ride and it should be running in about 2 mos. It'll feature resealed RE, ported stock turbo, custom front/v-mount intercooler set-up involving some cool fab stuff you guys might not have seen yet, microtech, fuel pressure regulator, stainless lines, big injectors, big fuel rails, e-fan, a reverse scoop hood, added fd oil cooler in brake duct, and a bunch of other cool *****. I should be putting down a reliable 320hp to the wheels. I can't wait to roll with you guys again.
