Great to have 2 new comers today! Good to meet you Palmer. You had a clean FD inside and out. The cruz was fun but short. We took it easy due to the road conditions (ice and salty gravel?) we drove through some icy spots got some good pictures at the snow and then had to turn around because chains were required oh and almost got run over by the snow plow (kind of). Ended up at the speedway where we froze but had fun taking some passenger laps in the 8's. Not sure who took pictures from the 7 forum but i will post a link to ours.
Where you at Vipers?

thanks for the support guys... i examined it further today.. and it seems that maybe the injectors MIGHT be salvageble... if thats the case, it might just be the wiring that needs to be replaced.. which isnt too big of a deal.... ill find out more when i take the plenum off....
and about the fire extinguisher.... as crazy as it is.. 3 days befroe the fire, casey gives me his fire extinguisher he had in his garage, and said "here, take this just in case, and give it back when you get your own" ...... without that extinguisher, my whole car would have gone up! thanks casey!

welcome!
I wouldent want to see Roxy destroyed.
I really think once you get it all cleaned up, get some of the black cleaned off, you wont have to much to replace. I think you will be able to save more then you think. form what I saw, 2 injectors some wireing, and maybe a fuel line or two. (my disclaimer was "from what I saw")
Looks like it started at the primary fuel rail. a little hard to tell in the dark with everything still on the engine... but that is my guess.

Hey guys.. So my engine/tranny is officially FS. Will you guys please go to my classifieds in the 2nd gen and west section to promote it. I need to sell it to fund the RE project. You guys have seen how reliable and strong my engine is and I'd love for you to throw in your $.02. Here's the links:

can anybody around Carson/Torrance could stop by my house and check out my FC? damnit, it seems like every time i get it back from wherever it was being worked on, something goes wrong... i can't even explain what i've been going to just trying to get it. long story short, if you don't mind checkin how it acts, care free to stop by. i just want to drive this car already. it's been through so much...
-replaced ECU (other one was fried)
-replaced spark plugs
-idle was fixed
-TPS was fine last time i checked it, i should check it again
(just stop by or PM me and i'll tell you the whole story about getting my FC...)
and the problem was that when the RPM drops down while slowing down, it just dies. is it due to the cold weather? running rich (or so the seller of my car told me)?
thanks. feel free to PM me if anything. =/

Sounds like what happens when my alternator dies. That also happened when my truck needed new/ cleaned injectors. If I wasn't on the gas they just weren't flowing enough to maintain idle. Just my $.02. Is it still drivable? If so you should pm fc3s91 and stop by his house. he's really good at troubleshooting.
