i saw a mazda MP3 protege yesterday driving west on the 91. kinda cool. never thought i'd ever see it.

lol... i used to have one!!! i bought it brand spankin new lazer blue mica was the color! what an amazing handling car! i miss it so much! unfortunatly it was reposessed 6 months after i bought it!

 

i dont have tires yet, and i still want to break them down and clean/repaint them.

due to the autocross practice interfeering with the meet. Keith will be leading the meet this month rather then Vipers and I. those of you that wish to go to the meet are welcome to go. it will still be plenty of fun.




MEETING FOR THE 13th:

1) Meet at 9:00
2)Leave @ 10:00 on the dot (and we mean on the dot)
3)run will be the crestline run that we attempted last time, but had to stop right at the fun part.
4)when finished those that choose to can follow Keith down to the track for ride alongs and pictures.

This should make for a nice fun filled day for everyone.





if you choose not to do the meet, but you would like to come down and watch and get ride alongs with us at the track you are welcome to just meet us at the track when ever you please. we will be there from 8:00 on.

you seven guys might want to come down and check out vipers car (if he gets it all done in time) it will be the first time he will be able to even somewhat get to use the power that he has spent so much on! should be funny.... I mean fun. :/ he he he . no promises because I already have quite a few rides lined up, but you might get a ride with myself, you can see what and RX-8 with suspenssion mods and slicks feels like! (or you can find a ride with anyone that will let you hop in)

I am not sure when the next meet is, but may I suggest the 13th? That would be a Saturday.

Today I'll find out if I can make the next meet. I kinda blew up my car at GMR picking on some race-spec civics, a real fast Husquevaria, and an SRT-4. When I got to the top of the mountain it sounded like **** and when I got out and let it run to cool down it just sputtered out and died. Not a good sign, that's never happened before. It started up and drove down the mountain to a friends shop but sounded horrible. It now had more of a low tone grumple vs. its usual high toned sport bike kinda sound. Oh well, got home and found a buncha little things that would explain poor idle and funky engine sounds. Shot TPS, oil got low while at GMR, Shot Spark plugs, loose ground wire/bolt, loose engine/bell housing bolt, and most likely blown out packing on my 300mi. old Sebring muffler. I'm going to fix everything today and change out the fluids. Hopefully It'll turn out good and it won't be time for a rebuild just quite yet.

Well my car is half apart and it looks like my front iron oil line has a leak. just ordered some from mazdatrix. Oh well, there goes my new brakes I was going to get. It's rotary days like this that I wished I still smoked. I'm over 2 weeks into not having any and the nico gum has been doing fine up until now. I hope the new lines, TPS, sparkplugs, and oil work.

Good news and bad news guys. Good news: put everything back together with new spark plugs, fresh fluids, properly working TPS, and stock oil lines and my car is all good to go. Bad news: I forgot about my addiction to wrenching on 7's. I've decided to pull my motor, sell it, and do an RE swap. Unfortunatly I'll probably be missing in action for a few months.
