Nice Damon!
How are you doing? hows the family? tell them all hellow for me.
ran the super miata at adams tuesday. got some new tires. they are very nice! the car was fast. its the best the car has felt in MONTHS! seriously its been a long time since the miata has been that much fun!
I am now the track record holder. (unless someone beat me afe I left).... sorry Jesse.... Sorry Rob....
he he .... ok they changed the track, which means my cueerent time is the new record, but it wont last once Jesse or Rob comes out.
I REALLY like the new layout. its the same ol track, but now you do NOT go into that ight hand sweeper before the start finish, instead you go streight into that sharp right hander.... they also took out the chicane, so thats another long streight. lots of streights. many times I was wishing I had more power!
I ran a 52.0 and I was still just trying to re-learn the car. I can pull a 51.0 no problem..... next time.

Ok guys, after lots of research I think I've settled on a clutch. Its the Centerforce Dual Friction ( http://www.corksport.com/centerforce...86-88-rx7.html ), which should slip a little during stop and go traffic and grab pretty good when I'm getting on it. Its supposed to be more durable for use with a lightweight flywheel and all too. Does anyone have any thoughts / opinions on it? I welcome them all.
Also, as I've never ordered a clutch before nor worked on a transmission ever, am I missing any parts to order from the following list? I'll be buying them from Mazdatrix, and the clutch kit from Corksport. The kit doesn't include any of the bearings (I called CS), so I've got to do this separately.
Release Bearing
Pilot Bearing
Pilot Bearing seal

if your going to resurface or replace the flywheel you will need a 2 1/8 (or 54mm) socket.
let me know if you need to barrow mine.
:-)
I THINK I will be going to Adams again tomorrow... for anyone who cares.
