Hey Casey, I looked up that mazda shop that I was talking to you about and it is R & R rotary in Glendora. Have you or anyone else heard any feedback about them good or bad?

Yup, same here. I belive Rob knows them REALLY well... right?

thre is a R&R Racing as well.... at least there was.

I have never dealt with either of them, the only thing I remember from word of outh was that one of them REALLY sucked, and the other was really good.

Thanks a lot for checking, Alex. I'm going with new bushings this time around. The Moog arm is an upgrade for the SA's - - uses a 2nd ball joint instead of bushings, much stronger. Used for 1st-gen racers.

Congo-rats, On both counts!

(congo rats, heh)

You'll get better mileage out of the ring than the tires, is my guess.

Does anyone know how to tell a GTUs differential without driving it? I got a PM from a guy that said he bought a parts car and was told it had a GTUs diff on it by the gut he bought it from. Also, will I need anything besides the diff to swap it into my s4?

thanks Glen, haha, yeah the ring will last a whole lot longer than tires. plus i should have enough to throw some new tires on just the front since that is where i really need them right now.

Just this, I did some more research and found out it is a direct bolt in.

I'm sure its a direct bolt-on (N/a to N/a) but idk how to tell the difference between the GTUs and Others

I'm not sure if the same part # would work for an RHD... wouldn't it be angled backwards? Not sure if it's symmetrical.

Maybe they have an RHD variant, though.
