I had to pull the ECU out and send it back to Virginia. The Tach and fuel pump switch(circuit in the ECU) wasn't working right. Plus they are upgrading the ECU with a newer software, and chip. I will have it back by middle to end of next week or so. I have only drove 140 miles on the motor so far. I have another 700-800(new bearings need break in) miles to go before the dyno. Other then that she's doing great! It's weird to see her sitting in the garage with a motor I'm not used to that!!!

No other signs of issues or problems at this time. She does idle at 11-12" at 1000rpm in vacuum, which according to Rob(pineapple) is about right for the large street port. The motor sounds really good, and starts with ease.

I suppose I should share what I've been doing:
Now this is the good part, Many people have problems getting something to adapt the stock hard fuel lines to aircraft hoses. I present this custom gem that only a few are aware of, double o-ringed with a locking clip to clip onto GM style flanged lines. I had to cut and flare my lines to accept these things and the finished product is great. This blows those ferrel compression fittings away.

Here is the fitting on the hard line

I'm really interested in this.....I want to know more. I have steel braided lines too, and I have them just hose clamped to the stock fuel line. This looks a lot cleaner and safer.
Nice work, and I'm looking forward to seeing another FD single turbo at the meet!!! Last time I had my car at the meet with another single turbo FD was when guitarjunkie was there(white FD). That was a long time ago!!
I don't think I will be running the car hard this meet coming up. Not enough miles by then........or maybe it will be.

Casey, will you be using your camera to record like at autocross?
Damon, awesome home! Looks like you have plenty of concrete to park multiple project cars! I'm no expert on pools, but that looks a little too au-natural, am I right? And is that all packing material piled in the family room?

.
Nice pics Michael Knight, really dig that pool and backyard!
Red Baron glad the ECU is fixed, I think I speak for the gang we can't wait to see her, and ok I concede you win hands down
. I am also interested in that fuel pipe to an fitting setup that Aeka is working on, looks really clean.
I am with Will, looks like it the next meet is shaping up to be a good 1

only if Jesse lets me barrow his camera for a run. I will take my camera out so that I can have Michelle or someone ride along with me. (my current setup puts the camera inthe passenger seat)
Rob, you gonna come out Tuesday with us?

I dont intend to get too into it.
the cost of the tire wear is too high to just go out there and burn em up every week on a track that does not change. but every now and then will be fun.
not to mention it is a major PITA to put the soft top in every time we want to run Adams, then take it back out to auto cross..... no thanks.
now... in the future when I have the R comps off of the diamond wheels, I may put the street tires on those wheels and make them the new adams setup... although that does not fix my soft top issue.
;-)

The ECU shipped today 2nd day air. I pulled the engine harness this weekend, checked it all for any issues. Cleaned it up a bit, and installed in back in the car. All vacuum lines have been checked, and zip tied to their locations. All leaks have been repaired.
Now we are waiting for the ECU, and a small fitting before any tuning will be done. This should be all done by Wednesday and on the road Wednesday pm. I also need to do some break in miles(est 700 or so) before I tune for waste gate WOT, 15psi too!!
