So a friend and I are heading to Gameworks tonight at about 7:50pm. I stop to drop off some movies at Hollywood Video on Day Creek just below the 210 freeway. I'm driving down and just above Baseline I see a black GT-R with paper plates in the left lane doing 40, stuck behind a car. The speed limit was 45, and I was doing 50 in the middle lane as I go by him in 4th gear (relevant because it shows I wasn't being stupid). I have my window down, and at the next light, this guy pulls up next to me blaring hip hop. I didn't even look until he turns the music down and loudly says to the other two guys in his car, "This guy is in a f***in' Mazda," with just that snooty tone that gets to me so well. So I look and the guy looks a little younger than I am (I'm 19 for those that don't know), and the two guys in his car look even younger than him, about high school age. So after I look over, he yells at me with the same tone, "My tires cost more than your car."
It takes a heck of a lot to get me angry or mad at all, as I usually brush it right off. And thankfully I kept my cool here too and just decided to casually say, "Cool" and smile. But insulting my car is about the most direct way to get to me. Well that or hurt any female in my life.
So I just figured I'd tell you guys my little GT-R story
Background story of my area:
Day Creek is a very upscale new area of our city with some very nice houses. I went to high school with the people there, and its definitely a different environment than when I visited other schools in other parts of Rancho Cucamonga. People had some incredibly nice cars and gigantic homes. It sure made walking through the parking lot and visiting houses of friends a real treat.

What a meathead. Seems like there are so many jerks in the world that only care about one thing...themselves. Well, travel update on my end. After 1800mi. and 30 hours I made it safely to St. Louis. I'll be here at the in-laws home before I head to Memphis w/ the kids in a week or two.
Will you be posting pics of your new home when you're all settled?

So I replaced the stripped bolt that plugs the oil pan. Heres a picture of the new bolt next to the old one. Its a cell phone pic, so its not the best quality, but you can still see the issue with the threads.
Scratch that last bit, those are AWFUL quality. The threads are tough to see, but check out that manicure I just got.
The bolt I replaced it with was an extreme performance cryogenically treated high speed super-plug I bought from Mazdatrix for like $ 1.50

Well my clutch is slipping pretty bad. I haven't been able to fully depress the throttle for a while now without it slipping. So I've been doing some pricing, and I figured while I'm swapping a clutch in, I might as well upgrade it and throw in a flywheel. So before I get started, let me ask this: Will the stock counter-weight Racing Beat sells work for any aftermarket flywheel (not just Racing Beat's) ?
Here are the flywheel and clutch combos I'm looking at:
http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/perf...ch/Clutch_Kits
The SPEC Stage 2
Supposedly lasts 2-3 times longer than a stock clutch.
http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/perf...eels/Flywheels
The ACT Prolite
What do you guys think of those choices for a daily driver? Nothing too wild, and from what I've heard, a "racing" flywheel isn't really all its cracked up to be with it's difficultly to use with a daily driver.
HorsePowerFreaks.com seems to be pretty darn cheap. Thats where I got my catback from, and I saved a bunch of money using them rather than Corksport or Amazon.com.

Oh thats perfect. And yeah, I'm not going for a puck clutch. I'm also looking at the ACT Prolite as well. I've never heard of the company "SPEC" though. Have any of you guys ever dealt with their products?

Does anyone know the difference between the two ACT Prolite flywheels on this page:
http://www.advancedclutch.com/produc...x?prod_id=1247
The one on the left is $220 more. Does it include the counterweight or something?

Counterwieghts only came on automatics. I would believe they are used to hold some sort of centrifugal force turning the e-shaft. Not sure if counterweights are series specific though.

Oh cool, I'll start looking around. But could you be more specific as to "which" on the left? I know the Prolite is lighter than the Streetlite, but whats the difference between the two in each category? There is no explanation given on the website. The bullets of information say exactly the same thing, but one Prolite flywheel is $200 more than the other Prolite flywheel.
