you can drive on a blown shock..... its not optimal, but it will WORK.
you can have it if you want it. (if you do, let me knwo, I want to make sure I really have it first.... I am 99% sure I do)
otherwise, go to a junk yard and look for one that is in ok shape, or get one from a parts store.

Well, the RS*R springs were set and the transaction was complete and everything. Then I got this message today:
Needless to say I'm pretty bummed.
Dear Jason Absence,
"Real Name" ("email address") has issued you a full or partial refund for your payment.
Message from merchant: Hi,
I am refunding your money because I recieved the amount I believed I could get for the springs after all (300). I felt kind of ripped in selling them for 200 in the first place, so I am happier this way. Sorry about making you wait so long, though.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Original Payment Details
----------------------------------------------------------------
Date Payment Sent: Nov. 5, 2008
Amount: $258.28 USD
Sincerely,
PayPal

at least you got your monty back and didnt get screwed out of money.
but still, thats pretty crappy. you dont sell something to someone on ebay, and then refund the money because you sold them to someone else for more.
I cant tell you how many times I have sold something on ebay and gotten WAY lower then I expected.... I just take the hit.
make sure you leave a negative feedback. state that you got your money back, but he still refunded because he sold them to someone else for more after the fact. the best part is, he can no longer leave negative feedback for you.

Well I didn't order this off eBay, I ordered it off this site in the parts for sell section. And yeah, at least he refunded my money immediately, so that was nice of him. Bummer, this was my Christmas present! Haha. Well I don't think I'll ever find some unused RS*R Race springs again, so I'll go with Tanabe GF210's when the time comes. Its not like I was in a hurry either, since I don't even have shocks to put them on yet.
I even told him that I would take the springs for 200 if nobody else did. He tried negotiating for 250 with me, but I said no thanks, I'll take them for 200. After a couple weeks he PMed me back on this site and said that he'd take them for 200. We worked out shipping and everything, and my Paypal had been confirmed and he already had the money, then I came home last night and got that email. At least he was very timely about returning the money.

This has got to be the coolest video I have ever seen!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rs-jAImScms (click "watch in high quality" just under the volume)
it the intro stops at 1:10 and the fun starts.

although its a freakin cool video, it is not a good representaion of gymkhana .
gymkhana is more like aouto cross. its a timed event.
the video was a promotional video for DC, so they had to make it look cool. it would be better described as a drifting video.
