Hey Matt, heres the thing we talked briefly about last Friday. Everyone should find this one interesting. I'm pretty darn sure this is a rocket flying above Utah.

Hey guys, I went to the dyno day in San Diego. This is definitive proof that I'm having issues with my car, but can't figure it out. Fuel system, electrical?

Thanks, but I'm fuel injected. And is that the 3800 rpm hesitation you're talking about? Surprisingly, I don't have that, or at least not lately.

When is the last time you had your injectors cleaned/tested/replaced. google RCengineering in Torrance. They clean/test injectors and their customer service is great along w/ speedy turn around time. It's like 24.00 per injector. If you've done injectors recently I'd guess not enough air=bad MAF or maybe TPS along w/ bad injectors. It may feel like you're replacing everything on your car and you'd be right. Most of the stock stuff is bad or going bad right now. You just happen to be intune w/ your car and actually care that it runs properly.

Rob- What do you think?

Damon, thanks for the tip. I have not done anything with my injectors. I'll talk to them and see what their thoughts and suggestions are. Even if its not the problem, they will be going bad soon anyways, so I might as well. I'll probably hold off on these fixes until I can find a job. Once I get the job I'll be able to throw as much funds as necessary into this to get the car running optimally.

The plugs and wires have about 5000 miles on them from when my engine was rebuilt. Could be though, thanks!

Ok those guys must be pulling your leg, haha. Jason at the rpm that things started to fall off as evident in your printout, what did the motor sound like? Did it seem to be missing at all or bogging? You also might want to chech your AFM because it might be sending the ecu an inaccurate reading causing the ecu to lean out the mixture.

i dont think those 2 parts would have any effect on higher rpm interference... the kanuter valve is mainly lower rpms..... and as for the warpem wappum shaft, i dont think his is turbo.. so no worries on that one damn, at least know your parts and what they do

ooohhhh, hate it when those go out! they put them in the most tough to reach spot.. almost cant even see it when replacing it... and dont even get me started on topping off headlight fluid... might as well buy a turkey baster to get it in there!

Been busy lately but I dissambled the motor and it needs a rotor and housing. Side plates are great so I will reuse and port them. I think a peice of carbon killled the rear rotor.

I have decided to keep the car and do a manual swap to it. Will also put in the cheapest standalone I can find, probably a mega squirt and bridge port the motor.
It will probably take me a while but thats the plan.
