Thanks for coming Rob, Damon, Jason, Jason's dad.... it was fun having all you out there. every one of you impressed me. good times!
Rob, they are showing you ran a 56.0 witha DNF for your first run, another 56.0 for your second run, and no time for your 3rd run. I suspect they messed up someware. what were your real times? did you monitor tire pressures at all? Im not going to bother asking you setup questions, you know what your doing. your times reflect that.
down to a 60.8 Damon, not bad for hard street tires. do you have adjustable shocks on that bad boy? what did it feel like? was it pushing, was it loose? feel just right? did you monitor tire pressures at all?
Jason, next time you might want to go full stiff all the way around, lets see what that feel like. also how does it feel? same questions, loose, push? etc....
I will have pictures on my Fotki with in about an hour (say..... 9:30) click the link below to go see them. (you will have to navigate to the correct page)

Next month I'm going to try and get Tabitha behind the wheel. If she loves it as much as I think she is maybe I'll get some real coilovers and bushings for X-mas
Damon
Thanks for getting us out there Casey!!!!

yes I did win, I won by 1/100 of a second!
woot woot!
Damon, sounds like you could lowered the air a bit in the rear. thats awesome though that it was pretty much neutral though.
I am sure Tabith would have a blast. once a year there is a womens only class. you could always get her into that. its not a race day, just a practice (or school) and there are no men to compete with, so it really takes the pressure off. here is a like to the details. http://www.solo2.com/eventpage.asp?eid={C1983FE3-2325-45AD-8373-5C5BBE3A9073} there are not much details at this point, they will post more when it get a little closer. I think its something like $60 and its an all day thing. (16 laps or so with other women teachers).
men can go, but you can only help out. Pick up cones and such.

Races are once a month at the Auto Club Speedway (formerly California Speedway). You sign up at the event the day of. For a student under 24, it costs $25 and $5 for a weekend pass. You get 3 runs, about a minute each. You have to work for an hour as well picking up cones. I think its $45 + $5 if you're not a student.

Nov. 8 and Nov 9th are the next run days. Sat is practice and Sunday is race day. Just show up at California Speedway with some cash and you can run. Pending everything is bolted down securely and you work the course one of the shifts. I'm guessing we'll all be out there.

Looks like I'll be running CSM not SMII since I have 4 seats. Looks like I have have to go against the Evo' & Sti's I wonder if I can get into a Novice class? From the looks of it I think I could be competitive based on last weeks times.
