I just want a fender for my GTUs !! Black or whatever color S5 fender.Tell Alan i'm waiting on it and remind Jeff.
And get over it when I get my fender!!
Shoot if it were any S4 or if the fender was already damaged I wouldn't mind so much but it was perfect.
too bad I couldn't show it off at seven stock.
And I was not thread jacking. This thread is about so cal rotary shops so i thought I'd post my expereince.I'm sure Jeff does good work and yes iIt was only I who had a bad expereince.mabey they just didn't like me because i'm from Nor cal.Lol kidding.

My mechanic is a backyard mechanic. Name's Jason and he did all the work on my FC and is an honest guy. Located in Garden Grove. He doesn't have a shop but he has a garage in his apartment and knows his **** through and through. I'm about to get my driveshaft replaced by him later this week. Saved me a shitload of money on labor too. Number's (714) 636-3270. Tell him Alex sent you.

I am a fan of RnR rotary. Being going there for 4 years and have always received outstanding service.
I got my engine rebuilt with them 4 years ago. I put some hard 50K + miles in it and the only reason it blew up it's because my wastegateline came off. Bummer I was going for the 100K mark...

+1 for Neptune Speed.
I've taken my 8 in there several times and every 7 owner I meet while there is always thrilled with their work.
P.S. There was a REALLY nice 3rd gen in there two weeks ago. Props to whoever owns it.

hey chris, definitely take the car to neptune speed... ive had problems with lucky 7, and lets just say i was very unsatisfied with how they handled my car. yoshi, and ryosuke are the only ones i'll let work on my car. they've done nothing but give great advice, and honest ones too! they'll let u know if they can do something or not... and not bullsht you about it!

Lucky7 has been extremely helpful. Even give me free compression tests and such. I'm ordering my TII engine from them, and having them install a bunch of stuff.
One of the best shops out here from the feedback I get about them.

We took his car in to finish the s5 to s4 rewire. He has an s4 car and did an s5 swap. He attempted to start the rewiring/re-pinning, but needed help finishing it. We picked up his car with our trailer and took it to our shop. Once we had it, we started working on it and it was a mess of wires so we suggested swapping all s4 peripherals and wiring for his s5 block.
He chose not to go that route and wanted his car returned, so we returned it to him and just charged him for towing. This was also right around the last week of Jan and 1st week of Feb. When Dave (guitarjunkie28) passed away, and we were extremely busy helping his family move all of his belongings from the shop.
I guess we should have not taken the job in the first place and he would have gotten it taken care of elsewhere anyway. I just don't recall him ever being mad at us or anything, when we returned his car he was OK with it and did not seem angry or upset at all. Don't know why now almost a year later, he is crying about it and never said anything to us.
If anything, it is our first and ONLY negative feedback in 2 years.

thats why i wanted to have that feedback clarified... seems pretty straight foward. for me i took my car to rotary reliablility and had my oil cooler lines done and a fuel filter... they broke my mounts on the cooler and didn't even mention it and it wont sit straight for shet... then one of the fuel lines they touched to pull off the fuel line wasn't fully in place causing a small leak... luckily i noticed before anything happened.. shet happens.
