I've seen pics of your car, very nice T2!
This sight has some good rotary coverage of Nationals Solo

Finish line, the springs, ADJUSTABLE shocks, and porting will take you out of stock. the porting will even take you out of street prepared, and maybe even Street mod. which would put you in B-Prepared......... yeah.... thats a fast class.
I would just say for the time being, dont mention the port (unless it braps like a ported rotary, in that case its bigger then a street port.)
I dont like saying "be dishonest", but seriously, you are going to be out classed in anything but stock anyways. so run in BSP and call it a day.

Ok so there were a couple things I didn’t talk about in the first post.
There are 3 things you do at an auto cross.
1)Work
2) Race
3) socialize
1) working means you do your part to pick up the cones. During your run group there are people out on course picking up the cones you or anyone else in your group kill. Well, you to need to pick up cones when its their turn to race. Working can be a lot of fun if your working for a cool class, and can suck when your working for a boring class. Also after an hour in the sun (or rain) it can get a little old. But all in all, its not THAT bad. And like I said, its fun sometimes when a A-Mod car comes screaming at you and your 30 feet from them.
2) Race… We covered this already
3) Socialize. It’s a whole lot more fun when you have friends there, your chatting shooting the chit. Auto cross people are very friendly. Again, you will almost never get that sense of “I don’t belong here”. Have some fun, make some friends…. Get involved.

We are prepping a car for racing. So we will soon be attending a few of these events. I am not sure what class I will be in, but I doubt it will be with the RX7's.
What class do we claim for a stock motor?
completely gutted interior
coilovers
DOT approved tires
The car will be registered street legal, but . . . . . . . . not a street car
I have a feeling I am street mod bound.

sounds like street mod to me. no gutting in street prepared.... problem is I dont know if you can gut in SM either? I think you can, but I dont know for sure.
I am working on a picture list. an example of a decently prepared car in most of the classes.
Man I wish I could still edit the first post.

but my FC's much quieter than the average turbo FC running fart canons.
*whew* well, at least it's verified where i'm classed in.
i'll do some more research on my part, and eventually, i'll give it a try.
thanks a plenty speeddemon. hope to see you around the cones someday.

on a practice day you can have ride alongs. it really makes it fun. I dont knwo the minimum age.
on race days, NO ride alongs. though I do not know if this stands in X runs or not....... good questions.

Oh! Casey needs to edit his post to include this:
YOUR CAR WILL NOT PASS TECH if it is not in good condition.
This means the battery must be tied down securely.
You cannot be leaking any fluids (noticeably).
Your belts must be tight.
Your wheel bearings will also be checked, along with your lug nuts.
