well i got the car smogged last year to transfer title and apparantly it isn't applicable to renew registration this year bs california. that means another smog check and $80 more out of my pocket. great time to have an exhaust leak.

hmm. i might be in the same boat as sevensix... i just recently got the my smog test done about 2 weeks ago. and i am going to tranfer title and register my vehicle, since its from out of state...

Does this mean i have to do another smog check just to register my car..or can i do both with the smog test i just got done with?... i am confused....

I believe smog certs are good for 90 days. Just transfer title before that time pass's.
