which shop has the best bang for the buck on painting a car?
Who's got the best bang for the buck when it comes to paint job?
there are plenty of body shops around the bay area (san jose) so who in here has the best deal?
-Good quality (professional work)
-good service (prompt on work, no lagging for years letting the car decorate the shop)
good price for the service done is what i'm looking for
I'm not asking where the cheapest place is, like earl scheib/maaco..
Earl offers paint for a couple hundred bucks but it'll peel off in a couple months.
While hot rod quality sometimes costs more than the car itself, so where is the balance?

Avoid maaco at all cost. I saw a friend paint his at maaco, a lot of run off, masking was poor, thus paint is everywhere on rubber, etc. overspray, underspray, high/low spots.. All of possible problem presents.
Other than those its good from 20 feet.
And he paid almost 2G for it. Too much. I think there are shops that will cost around 2G with better quality.
I am looking for one as well.
