This is for everyone, if you were going to pick just one meet to come to a cruise would definitely be the best choice. If we do Salmon Falls again it would definitely be a fun one!

I also agree on the salmon falls run again.
This time we'll do it for you sunday folks who complained about it not being on a sunday
I'm thinking mid to late june so everyone can plan for it, unless everyone who wants to go has all of their sundays off then we can go do it on the first sunday of june or something haha.
What weekend is best for everyone?
I may go up there this weekend myself just for the hell of it actually....anyone wanna join me?
Oh, and geweke toyota in lodi sucks *** FYI.
With toyota certifications they wanted me to be their lube tech boy at $10 an hour hourly pay....
I worked 2 days and quit that **** yesterday at noon after I finished my last car.
Oh, and I was required to have my own tools and go buy the remaining specialty tools I needed for work.
A short list of the remaining specialty bullshit I needed calculated out to be around $400 or so extra i'd have to spend...
Also told me that on average nobody gets a raise or moved out of the lubetech area for at least a year even if they have toyota certs...
From the way things went over the course of 2 days it appeared that all they wanted was a lube bitch to do the majority of the cars so that their current mechanics could do the other cars and that there was no chance to move up for a while as they had no need for another real mechanic.
Any of you wanna work there? haha
/End rant

Holy ****, it's mo!
Dude, how've you been?
Get your white T2 running yet?
How's the blue/black FC doing?
How's it been trying to deal with UTI?
So far theyve pissed me off and now they really know it as they called me about 8 times yesterday. Funny how they take their sweet time ( at the least 1 week, at most 2 months) to call me back but want me to call them right then and there.

Yeah, i may just stay at our shop and just ditch toyota all together.
I was at the elk grove toyota the same day helping my grandparents pick out a newer car and they seemed to be the same way....
I admit that toyota is a great company and they make some really great long lasting cars but just don't seem to care about their shop techs...
No worries about saturday, just figured since i figured out a few issues with my car ( can now hit 10 PSI WOT and not overboost anymore, with it's leanest point being exactly 12.00 :1 a/f when it hits 10 PSI ) it would be nice to go for a fun run up there to get more used to the place before going on another run with alot of cars.
If you already have a car cover i'd bring it over, it's getting dusty and im not sure how well your interior is liking the direct sunlight and hot weather.
You going to have ben street port it or anything?
I may go to the BBQ as well on sunday if we aren't busy at the shop.
We just got our dentists Ferarri 308 back in our shop, basically because it's a POS haha. He told me months ago that his dipstick kept popping out when he drove it, I told him it could cause other problems as well but he didn't seem to care. He now has some major leaks going on and had it towed to the shop hahaha.

Well, looks like you can count me out of any meets for the next few months...
Just went for a short drive and 99% sure I blew a seal....
Lopey rough idle with a bouncing vacuum gauge and smells rich as hell and the a/f at idle went from 12.5 :1 to 13.8:1
Had the CAS retarded a few degrees as well as the fuel mixture never passed 12:1 the whole time.
Probly only have 12k miles on the motor so far.
Going to compression test it later tonight to confirm....

Hey ed, thanks for the offer.
I may part it out though and pick up a early 70's datsun 240Z though....
I love my FC but the police attraction, smog, and all of the other parts I still need to get for it are becoming almost too much of a hassle for me.
I need something that I can reliably smash on everyother night that if did break, can almost certainly be fixed the next day rather then go " **** I broke another apex seal" or " i lost compression on this face here " and have to buy the same expensive gaskets all over again just because that one small peice inside the engine let go. Then only be able to order them from a select few places that carries the parts, which of course the one I need the majority of parts from is located in CA with me so sales tax + shipping rapes my wallet even more.
Where as if I blew a headgasket I could go out and buy just a headgasket and replace it that night and be good to go the next day. Thus being able to leave the engine in the car and not buy gaskets for every part of the engine.
Now of course I will never leave the rotary scene, hopefully in the next year or 2 I can pickup an FD or another FC and do a 3 rotor or something like that.
But for now I need simple and 90% hassle free that can still haul *** but not have to baby it half the time.
The FC3S and 240Z are my 2 dream car's, I got to have fun with one of them for a few years, now it's time to go and figure out and play with the other one
