blah, blah, blah...give the guys props for following through. LS1 had problems and accepted the forfeture. These guys didn't just says there cars were "fast" they did took it to the track, you should do the same and prove that your LS1 FD is faster than a rotary, till then STFU

Can you read? The owner of the car lost his job, there were no problems with his car. Why don't take a bit of your own advice and quit running YOUR mouth until YOU can prove YOUR car.

I doubt he has any, it was done by the previous owner. He has the silver LS1 FD that ran in the Sport Compact Car USCC.

Where did I ever say that my car is faster than anything???????????? If ne thing I said the LS1 is faster mod for mod in the straights. (not including the video in the first post of this thread of course, haha). And I will snap back at anyone who posts on my thread and says "my car is faster" without puttin it on the track like these guys did. Rotary engines weren't built for straights like the LS1 so if I were to challenge a LS1, we'd have to combine times with 1/8 or 1/4 mile and a road course, then that'll be fair.

So you're saying, when taking turns, the rotary engine is faster?

Are you the type of person that believes a V8 swap will destroy the weight distribution of an RX-7? Have you ever driven a V8 RX-7? Have you ever been in a V8 rx-7 on the road course? Do you have any experience at ALL with a V8 RX-7?

His car HAS been on the track before, both 1/4 mile AND road course. Do you remember the lap times Mark put down before you bought the car, rx7what?

The LS1 wasn't built for straights, the chassis that it came out of (Camaro's at least) has a suspension setup is primarily favored for straight line. Engine's don't take turns. The LS1 has on-demand torque and a much more linear power band than the rotary. I actually like the LS1's power delivery MUCH more than the rotary's, from my FIRST HAND experience.

This is on street tires that are over two years old Should be in the 10's with slicks. And if that isn't enough this motor was built for NO2. So the skys the limit.
Silver car, right lane. Left lane is a LS2 car that kept getting built until it hit a 10.2 I believe.

ls1 vs. ls2 rx7's

Nice run. My car was design for road racing not drag racing. Drag racing is for the birds , real racing is on a road coarse.
Thanks Robert

So is my car, thats why it won the handling completion during the sport compact car ultimate street car challenge where it averaged 1.13g's. If my car was built for the straight line it would runs low 10's in full street trim and low 9's set up for the track.

Yeah I remember Mark's car before he sold it to you. It's all true.

They need to bring back the piston powered RX cars the same way they did back in the 70s when the RX-2s, RX-3s, and RX-4s had the piston powered option. Except Mazda should do a joint partnership with GM on the LSX motor platforms.

It was all done from prior owner but have you done it. See you v8 boys have a superiority complex. Always have to prove you are better. I never once challenged any of your v8 brother. The challenge between ls1fc and I was just a challenge. Im happy with my 1/4 mile time. At least I can say I built my car not bought or paid some to do it.

Big deal an rx7 with an LS1 that can do 10"s. Let's see an LS1 rx7 run 6.90's like Sporty did in his rx7 with a 13bt. You never will. LS1's in rx7's are for people who don't know **** about how to tune or build a rotary motor. I'm sorry, I hate missmatched brand cars/motors.

And going back to Abel. I hope all you guys here in Cali know that he holds the world record for the fastest rotary. If I recall it's a 6.6.. Go WEST SIDE!!!!

Until then STFU!!!!!!!!!!! and go to another forum. This forum is for rotary enthusiasts. I would love to hear what the chevy guys think of your rx7LS1's.

Why would you compare a full-out tube chassy race car to a full weight street car? That's totally illogical. 90% of the forum members are building their cars for the street, so your "race cars" comparison is useless. I hate when idiots say "yeah but Abel Ibarra can do 6's and the 787b won the Lemans blah blah blah" nobody gives a ****. Our cars are built for the street and we run it on the track on the weekends. We're not building them for all-out competition. I respect both the rotary and ls1 rx-7's for different reasons. I just have no respect for one-minded fools.

Gea nikka! Go West Side!!! STFU!!!

I guess you like getting slapped in the face repeatidly huh? Ok, since your ***** hurts too much from my 6 second drag car. Here is an 8 second street trim rx7 for you. Stock rearend and chassis the whole 9 yards.
http://grs-motorsports.com/noticias/.../orlando/4.wmv

Now do you want to STFU? Or do you want me to keep posting more rotary rx7 vids that waste your LS1rx7's.

Yes, I like getting slapped in the face "repeatidly", whatever the that means. What exactly are you trying to prove with these videos? That was definitely an impressive run, no doubt. Like I said, I respect the rotary, if you would have read my whole post.

I guess I should "STFU" now. You've really gotten your point across, thanks! Go West Side!!! STFU!!! **** LS1 RX-7's!
