But I'm comming from real Military (AKA Marine Cops).

JK, I am a contractor right now on an Joint program, and the Air Force has been consistently the hardest to please, I have nothing against the people in uniform, but some of the AF contractors and Govy's are down right stupid.
HEY NOW! Haha. I guess I will be putting together the same package as you, I want to go WO too. My buddy just got accepted to be an Officer in the Army, also as an aviator, but as an officer you only get to fly part of the time, whereas a Warrant Officer gets the fly the WHOLE time, not part time flying a desk like an Officer. So I choose WO.

I can attest to SLO's comment about govy's, they don't really think sometimes. As far as pleasing the Air Force, I was a pretty lenient supervisor. I felt that as long as you got the job done, and done right, I've got no problems.

As far as BRAC goes for March, the first time BRAC hit, I was in 8th grade and all the active duty guys left, leaving the base a Guard/Reserve base. BRAC reared it's ugly head again this past June, eliminating the Air Guard Refueling Wing, and converting them into a Predator Wing. So a lot of people lost jobs and had to relocate. The sad part about it is that, because these people are full time Air Guardsmen, they didn't just lose a base, they lost thier jobs. Active Duty people just get sent to another base, Guard people either have to move or lose their primary means of income.
Hey, NDI, we send our new guys to you to get their boots NDI'd for cracks, HAHA. I assume you've played along before? I love playing jokes on the new guys. I especially love the over-the-phone physical, lol. The guys replacing us are Reserve guys and are supposed to be coming from Wisconsin, but alot of them don't want to move, so I'm not sure what they're going to do. They're having Reserve recruiting briefings all the time here now, so I guess that answers my question, haha.

Oh, I was about to tell you to get ready for one crazy ops tempo, at least it was on the Fighter side at Kadena. Wow. I wouldn't mind going to Yokota if I go back.
