Report update, Pyrite:
Found one red FB, one black (used to be blue) 79 SA, and one fairly picked-over S5, white with a red front bumper.
The SA (SA22C-529843, RIP) had the exact carb I've been looking for on it... but it was terribly corroded (both rust on all iron parts, and aluminum pitting) and stuffed, I mean like full of rat turds. The engine bay also reeked of rat ****.
I got a few trim pieces off it (no badges, Jon, sorry; someone had already picked em both over for any useful badges) and a fairly nice shift surrond/boot) but between the horrid shape of the carb and the nasty, hantavirus-loaded payload in it, I wasn't going to waste time pulling it.
The car also had a pristine upper air duct (rare SA exhaust part) which had been chopped in half by the yard monkeys, attempting to remove the non-existant cat (SAs had no cats). fair amount of interior parts left in it, including a steel 79-style sunroof.
The other (green) SA Hozzman had seen earlier this week was not locatable. I searched the whole area, no sign. Must have already been rotated out.

August 13th update
Ontario yards:
Milliken - One new SA in the yard, no other RX7's of any vintage found. There was a Lexus SC300 though which is a first for me.
Pyrite - Same SA as before. No other RX7's of any vintage found.
San Bernadino:
Walking from south to north, couple of SA's, one 81-83FB, one S5 (Blue), and one S4 (aftermarket side skirt on passenger side. Rest of body kit trashed).
Anaheim: Told by another forum member no FC's in either yard.
Anyone else have anything to add? I know one forum member that is in need of a minor part off an S4, but lives way far from San Berdu.

Checked it out, got what I wanted. Thanks.
It was originally white that was later painted grey. Drivers seat is in kinda good shape, Tails still there good shape albeit the drivers side one looks like someone hit it a bit with a hammer. Door mirrors trashed.
Top looks like it WAS ok until someone tried to remove it on the passenger side and wasn't paying quite enought attention and made about a 2 inch tear at the seam. Shame on someone. The rest of the rear portion including the drivers side is near perfect. To give perspective, before who ever the experimenter was that touched it, I would judge it as a 9 1/2 out of 10. Now I'd call it a 7 - 8 out of 10.
I didn't see any other RX7's in the yard, S5, S4 of FB.
That said, I still need one part off a S4. Anyone see one of those in a yard, hit me up.
Thanks

Went to Pick a Part in Monrovia today at 4. Only saw a red NA s4. Interior pieces are all out except for glove compartment and dash and a few other things...it's red interior though.
Rear bumper looked good, and has very nice s4 tail lights. Door, door handles (interior and exterior) are all there. Locks are there. Manual windows are there. Hood was there. Fenders were there. Front bumper looks a bit beat.

Beside the update regarding the Sunland Pic a Part yard,
https://www.rx7club.com/west-rx-7-forum-193/u-pick-parts-report-2-fcs-1-first-gen-pics-866118/
any other updates? Note. So it's not missed, Blue S5 in the Sunland yard is indeed an automatic. So, couterweight availability.
