yeah Zero i agree with riccio. Michelle had mentioned that your GF seemed pretty cool. Michelle likes to talk to Riccio to. seems like we all have a good chemistry at the meet!

working on the second gen is easyer then the RX-8. not that i have done much working on the RX-8 but from what i have seen, and my experiance with the 2nd gen......... yeah the second gen wins!

vipers and myself lowered my 8, it took about 4 hours. (first time)
we lowered his 2nd gen the next day, and it took all of about an hour. (not first time).

as for the 8 being pricy..... yes it is, wait a while and buy used if she really wants it.

oh yeah one more thing. i also agree with riccio, part of the fun of the monthly meet is seeing the changes in everyones cars between the months. little things here and there. i waited 2 months to see riccio's intake!!! looks good by the way! fits your cars style perfectly. i dont think you could have picked a better one for your car.

hey Zero, what color did you want that decal for your back window? you want to pick it up at the next meet, or did you want to come over and put it on?

White would work just fine. As for picking it up, it doesn't matter. Whatever works best for you.

Very nice!! I almost bought some rotas, but everywhere I called didn't have the 4X114 bolt pattern. They are nice and priced even better. Well the ones I was looking at. That color is going to look bad *** on your car.

From my experience, the RX-8 is a much better daily driver than the FD, and has plenty of power for everything except top-speed contests, which we shouldn't really be doing in the first place.

If you guys want to go racing, the next autocross will be on Feb. 20th at California Speedway. Due to the limited daylight hours, they have been restricting the number of non-member entries lately, so you might not be able to race if you don't already have a points card. Last time they were able to let everyone in, but there might be more people this month as a result. For more info, PM me or check www.solo2.com .

If you guys want to go for a brisk drive on public roads, midday on a weekend is not the time to do it. If we were to head out at 9am, the traffic would be much lighter.

Hey Cool wheels, Hey I can throw an idea that I was talking to Scoty about I remember you guys talking about going to the beach before so on the 15 S torward san d there is a famous moutain down or up hill run palomar mountain its off the 76 E I drove on it twice before and there is a few different paths to take, which are all pretty fun and could get as extreme as any one could ask for or just be a fun drive, one paths leads to a big lake, and another to the top with an observatory, all around a good drive and then after that the oceanside beach is 18 miles from that 76 exit on the 15 freeway, just trowing some ideas around

A drive to the beach would be cool. We could arrange a time to meet up then take a scenic drive to the beach and have the meet up there.

nice pics FC3Stech. thanks

red baron has sugested a fun up the 18, through twin peaks area, up to big bear, down the other side, past foest falls, and down into redlands.

i vote for this drive, and then when we get into redlands, we stop off at the park and have a BBQ. everyone brings a little something something. redbaron said he would be the cook. there is even a stater bros. on the way for people that "forgot"

this will give us a nice drive and lunch. and for those of you that are ready for a little bit longer of a drive this time. well this would be a lot longer.

normally i would say lets meet at 9:00 because i know everyone can wake up early enough for a 9:00 meet, but with a longer drive and lunch, i think this time we should make it for 8:00 meet, and leave no later the 8:30. or does everyone want to stick to the 9:00 thing.

and everyone shows up with a full tank of gas so we dont all have to stop.

does this sound like a good plan to everyone?

That sounds good. Time doesn't bother me at all, only takes 10-15 min to get to meet.

Have you guys driven the 18 lately? The last time I heard, it's been closed due to flood damage. Can someone check it out this week?

ARGH!!!! the wheels dont fit in the front, they hit the strut, so goodbye peerdy wheels! i have to exchange them for another style....... i think im gonna get the R-1 GTR-10 wheel, its a very good looking wheel........ the main reason it suck so much is because those rotas fit PERFECTLY on the rear, the extra 1'' of width just fills the wheel well!!! i tried to see if they could get me a 17x7 or 17x7 1/2 for the front.... but no such luck! ill post pics of my "other" new wheels when they come in!

wow.... i think thats the first time this thread has ever gone to the second page......... anyways! bodykit is still a no-show i called them and they said that shipping in long beach is getting all fubarred and my kit could be sitting in a cargo container for all they know.... so they gave me an "approximate" time of the end of the month...... we'll see!!

lol...i cant wait to make my car look like crap she will have a white body kit, a primered wing, black front fenders, carbon hood, scraped off graghics (which is deffinently gonna peel off alot of that cheap paint)........... lol ........ shes gonna look so ghetto for a while!!

what....and be like all the other ricers lol....j/k...... actually, im thinking about it!! i cant decide whether to do grey or black though???!?!! my buddy primered his 7 grey, then took some red paint and faintly striped the car....... i know it sounds funny.... but trust me.... it looked killer!!! but in any case.... its all temporary!!!!

i just want to drive her w/ the body kit on (unpainted) for about a month, in case i bump into things (the nose will be about 6 inches further out than im used to)..... then she will be repainted again!

Hey, I was thinking of buying a s-afc for my n/a. Anyone ever tried it on a n/a? I heard its good for another 15whp when tuned. Just wondering, since I'll have a little extra cash from my tax return. Just a thought that came up today.

Wow - we dropped to page two again!

Any word, KC on which weekend in March the next meeting will be?

And, Vipers, you are the first guy I ever met who admitted he just might "bump into things" with a new body kit. Great idea to wait a month before painting!

no i dont know yet.
it seemed to me like no one had a problem with the second weekend of march, so that would make it March 12th.

so how about:

Saturday March 12th 2005
Pirate City Tattoo Parking Lot, San Bernardino
9:00 A.M.

?

works for me.
