It's steering shake, not from the brakes nor any of the drivetrain parts.

From what i've found it's common in the 240Z, some have fixed it by installing urethane bushings in the front end, others by tightening their loose steering racks, ball joints or tie rod ends, wheel bearings....

So far I have full poly bushings up front and the wheel bearings seem to be good but I can't figure out what the hell is causing it.

I'm going to order new ball joints and outer tie rod ends just for ****'s to see if they help as they look original anyways.

Next step would be getting the wheels rebalanced and using sticky weights instead of the pound on weights which im thinking is the most sensible problem lately since I can't find any play in anything up front. They were supposed to have been balanced when I had new Falken Ziex put on but who know's if they payed any attention to the balancing when they put the weights on...

It occurs around 45-50 MPH and get's semi-worse the faster you go but sometimes it won't happen nearly as bad as other days. It seems like wheel balance but it could be worn out inner steering rack tie rods, ball joints, outer tie rods or a combination of things...

I haven't put too much time into it as I drive maybe 4 miles a day at most and there doesn't seem to be any abnormal tire wear being caused by it so it's not too big of a problem yet...
