Expensive (Dress Nicely):
Spaghettini's
3005 Old Ranch Parkway,
Seal Beach, California 90740
It's a nice place with really good food, it can be a little pricey though can't recall off the top of my head but probably around $50/person or so.
Diner and/or Breakfast:
Best Place Cafe
2099 Bellflower Ave
Long Beach, CA 90815
Good Burgers and Breakfast; breakfast is relatively cheap at around $5 and lunch you're probably looking at about $7-10.
Roscoe's (Website for other locations)
730 E Broadway
Long Beach, CA 90802
They're famous for their chicken and waffles if you've never heard of them... :x
Sushi:
Kabuki (Website another chain with multiple locations)
6081 Center Dr. #203
Los Angeles, CA 90045
Good sushi it's about $15-20 a person so not too expensive but somewhat nice (Their crunchy rolls are really good).
Maki Maki
71 Fortune Drive, Suite 954
Irvine, CA 92618
Another decently priced (but really good) japanese place, plates can range from $10+. Regular sushi starts at $4 and goes up. They're going to release an LA location soon so hopefully that'll be available if you don't want to drive out to Irvine.
I'll add more later sorry about most of these places being kinda far away from you I usually travel South from Long Beach when going out to food.

But I want some cheapo places I can go check it out, since I eat out EVERYDAY.
Like today, I went to Crepe. It is in Valley and Garfield. It was like 8 bucks, but totally worth it.

in the valley? here are some of my dives:
Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Dining
163 N La Cienega Blvd
Beverly Hills, CA 90211
Phone: (310) 659-5760
Do It Yourself BBQ Grilling... And Love It!
Open-Faced Grill
Kobe Beef Filets & Other Meats
Seafood & Vegetables
expensive: 20-30 a person. Try the miso skirt steak..../drool
-----------------------------------------------
Clay Oven Indian Cuisine
14611 1/2 Ventura Blvd
Sherman Oaks, CA 91403
Phone: (818) 995-1777
10-12 a person. vegetable korhma (sp?) is really good.
------------------------------------
Good Earth Restaurant
12345 Ventura Blvd Ste 12345C
Studio City, CA 91604-2511
Phone: (818) 506-7400
Heathly organic food at normal prices. Seriously the desserts are insanely good. 3.50 for 1/4 of a cake. I get the chicken enchalladas (sp?). Average is like 10-12 a person.
-------------------------------------------------
Cafe 50's
4609 Van Nuys Blvd
Sherman Oaks, CA 91403-2916
Phone: (818) 906-1955
10-15 a person. Great burgers and what-not. I think they're 24hours. Shakes are pretty good, too.
The Scene
Cafe 50s is smartly attired in red vinyl, white formica, and chrome. The walls are plastered over with B-movie posters and ads of a bygone era, including a "More doctors smoke Camels than any other cigarette!" advertisement. A quarter buys three tunes on the 1957 Seeburg jukebox loaded with oldies hits by the Big Bopper, Patsy Cline and Chuck Berry.
The Food
Since this is a diner, the sizzling burgers, crispy fries, and thick shakes are tried and true. It is not, however, a deli, a chophouse or a French restaurant. So stay far, far away from anything involving cold cuts, steak or sauteed spinach. The soda fountain is unparalleled and replete with classics from egg creams to vanilla Cokes. Have a Norman Rockwell moment sipping any one of the three dozen heavenly milkshakes. The chocolate-chip cookie shake is a startlingly spot-on liquid version of the baked good, and the very cherry bursts with maraschino.
See you there!

Market Broiler in the Block of Orange. Went there a few times and have been satisfied with the food. The service is great, but it is a little pricey.
My personaly favorite is
Sushi:
Ebi in Laguna Niguel. (<-South Orange County) Its on the corner of Crown Valley and Moulton PKY, behind blockbuster. Sam and Sarah, the owners, are really nice. Pricing is reasonable (about $10-15)
