My buddy and I do rebuilds from home (we are located in Oakland and I am currently looking for a shop to rent).
Budget rebuilds starting at $1800 short block,
New apex seals and O rings.
We also offer removal and installs and other mechanical and diagnostic work for rotary powered cars.

No need to trailer your cars anywhere. we can call flat bed to pickup your ride.
We have a spot or 2 available.
We can do anything, including RX-8.
We plenty of experience and good references.

I drove my RX3 up to Willits last weekend... Is the rotary scene big at all in your area?
ive yet to see a rx3 in person yet. what'd you head up to willits for?
the rotary scene is not very strong up here, theres a few around but besides myself and fastline there pretty slim to find anyone that knows anything about what a rotary even is.
if you are in the ukiah/willits/mendo county/sonoma/lake county area,
Bulldog Auto Center in ukiah. Adam's a easy guy to get along with and knows his sh^t.

Hey, im trading my buddy for his s4 next week.
He overheated it and the motor is toast. I'm not sure if it needs new housings or
what but i've been looking for a shop close by and ukiah is really reasonable. I'm
pretty new to the 7 scene. I just want to get it running and see what its like to drive it!

IF the pos paint shop ever decides to finish my car I have a few things you can do Rear urethane bushings, finish up that meth kit, tuning..I think I'm forgetting a few things..
If I only had the money to do a 20B swap on my Z ....

Someone mentioned this already, but I figured I always say this...Rotorsport in Santa Clara. www.rotorsport2.com Paul is the man! lol.

Does anybody up here do "comprehensive" rebuilds? THe car I bought was just rebuilt 12k miles ago. All the hard seals should be fine i hope. But the coolant seals are definitely dying. Anybody know of a shop that will replace JUST my coolant seals for me?!??!??

I wasn't yelling at you, just the trend hopper above. Rebuilds require a lot of patience and clean work space, so if you don't feel comfortable doing it your self no prob. Karack is really good, he's just really busy most of the time. He's worth the wait, but depending on your time frame and budget shipping just the block to Kevin @ Rotary Resurrection is the next best. Junflower,, only works on S5 N/A so if you're turbo or turbo or S4 N/A you're fucked.

Junflower!!
You Hole dial8 lol.I am turbo or turbo too!
I work on all rebuilds S4-S5-FD mostly.Turbo or non turbo dosent matter.
I stopped doing other work and engine swaps.
I am open to short/long block rebuilds currently.

I've been calling around the Bay Area, looking for someone to do the dreaded vacuum hose job for my FD, and everyone I've talked too has pointed me in the direction of rotorsport2.
I talked to PR, Mr.Mazda, Hidden Valley Auto, etc, and they all recommend rotorsport2. I dunno if those guys are any better than the others, but it appears that they've got more patience.
for the record.

The other shops can be decent for some stuff but they only like the easy jobs. They want quick turn around and easy money which is why they are just telling you to take it somewhere else.
Yeah, take it to Paul over at Rotorsport. He's done thousands of vacuum lines on FD's so it's nothing he hasn't seen before. He knows what he's doing so no need to worry.
