i bet you'd get hassled by cops more in an evo cuz ITS A KIDS CAR! most of the people that drive evos are younger and police know this. i bet if there's a z06 and an evo both driving the same the evo will be the one to get pulled over.
uhhh... the point is that you dont have to do the modification to the z06 to get that power DUH. why else would they build it. that's the same as saying "throwing a turbo on a civic will get you into the 12's" which the z06 already does.
IDK why you guys are jockin the Z06 so much there are plentty of other cars out there that are 1,000,000 times better, i cant even rember the last time i saw an FD (other than mine) and i just saw a Z06 today, + about 3 C5's and 2 C6's...
p.s. VIPERS are better than ZO6's

I would still rather do a Nice 02-04 Z06 for $30K.

Anybody know where I can get a power window switch for a 1990 FC (drivers side window)?????? My switch burned out and I cant roll the windows down till I get another switch! I am in Vacaville but willing to drive anywhere in the bay area to get the switch!!! I have $40 or maybe a trade if you need some parts too. I have L+R tinted power windows, full stock FC suspension, complete A/C system and a bunch of option, best motoring and drift type DVD's.
Thanks for any help.

name some cars that are better than a z06 for that money...
z06 handles as great as it has power. and who cares if you see more of them than a 7.
its hard to get people to like an alternative engine especially when a lot of rumors
get around that half of them dont work. otherwise im sure u'd see plenty of 7's around

Yeah I mean basically point for the point the Z06 is a better vehicle than any RX-7, notwithstanding that the Z06 is entirely in a different class. But its not always about what is the absolute best or better than most in a lot of things. Sure you could rock a Z06 and maybe lightly modify it to make you king of the local hill, but how would you stand up to that crazy surgeon who just got some Ferrari imported and modified the hell out of that? Or the guy who has a modified twin-turbo Saleen S7? There will always be someone with something that will either out handle what you have or out run what you have. If you only try to go for raw performance you will never be happy, if you've found something you like and it makes you happy even if it is not the best (like those crazy kids who jdm swap/turbocharge their CRXs) the important thing is that at least you appreciate what you have, you actually like what you have, and are happy with it.

There is a pick n' pull in the fairfield area, you can get a window switch from any wrecked FC out there and my guess is it might be cheaper.
You could also take the switch apart and clean the contacts, I did that on mine and they worked fine for years after....
(unless of course the board is actually cooked, then the first suggestion of the junk yard.)

Might stay in the Rx7 club even after I sell my FD.
