Zach, speaking of stereo setups... what if I removed my bose system and had to 8" subs fire up thru the same openings towards the hatch glass?
I gotta do something with the JL sub, Elipse/Boston seperates, Rockford Fosgate/Xtant amps. I think it's a bit much for the FD. I suppose I could throw 'em in the prelude. That stereo sucks so bad it hurts my ears.

I only bled my brakes at the calipers once, that was when I changed the front calipers out and put in new pads all around and it was a bitch.
I pay tire/brake shops to do it now ...

Yeah its tedious T_T. Replaced the brake master because it was leaking and tore up the paint under it =/. Decided to replace the brake pads as well since I would have to bleed the brakes. When I went to loosen the driver side bleed it wouldn't budge. =/ Still I don't know if I should worry about it or not, the brakes work just as good as before and it doesn't feel like there is air in there. Thinking I Might just wait till I need to bleed the brakes again.

Also the pads are OEM replacement ceramics, can't remember the brand off the top of head but they aren't janky organic pads or anything.
I'd just let a brake shop deal with bleeding them next time as they'll either just deal with the rounded valve or replace it for a little bit extra.

The pads are still fairly new and so long as you don't drive like its an auto (OMG must slow down BRAKE!) they should last quite a while.

Anyway now my next project is getting new oil cooler lines and replacing the oil pan gasket! Get rid of that little drip drip lol
Also anyone have a tip on painting some exposed metal in the engine bay? My Master cylinder leak took off some paint and the only way I think I can get it it is removing a bunch of stuff though maybe I could try going under. Just don't want to have a serious rust issue later on

Dinnercoat,
When you get the S5 back and want to do a stereo, then let me know and I'll hook you up. Chances are I have enough spare gear around here to do a full system in your car that I could sell you for cheap.
Evan,
I fully suggest pulling the Bose waveguide out of your FD. And I can tell you about the system I used in my FD. It was really nice I think. I only used a single 8" and that was more than enough. I put the box in between the rear pillars firiing backwards and up little. You'd be amazed how much cabin gain an FD has. For anything resembling SQ listening, a single 8" will be just fine. You could use dual 8's if you want to take up more space/weight. Get with me at work Monday and we can draw up a plan for your car.
RKwan, I got your PM and am thinking it over. I'll PM you back either tonight or tomorrow.

Jake, we are talking about doing another NorCal 7 X-mas party at our house this year. It will be for the "Old School" club members only plus a few invited guests. I'll give you a call and we can talk about it. Is your cell number still the same??
