Well I would replace the rotors but, Wilwood's come at about 269 per rotor. And Summit doesn't have them in till May 2nd.

Maybe I'll go anyways, not much stopping happening on the freeway anyways.

If the rotors are smoked/dead then and they are not TOOO Bad (cracked or anything of that sort..) just don't drive like an ******* and you will likely be just fine. It takes quite a bit to crack rotors.. (assuming you didn't drill them out or anything silly like that.)

Oh right right, mr professional sitting inside with the AC running. hahhaha just kidding now... At least the Mercedes techs around here get AC in their shop and never seem to get dirty.

In that case, you know the risks and you know you'll be just fine. A better excuse would be the gas prices for you.

Not really since i get like 28mpg on the freeway in the vette. Love that 6th gear.

My Shop does NOT have A/C, the building I work in is so old that it used to be a stable for horse drawn carraiges.

And I get HELLA dirty every day.

Hmm yeah 6th sounds nice, if my Truck or Jeep had a nice V8 behind it to make it useful. With 35" tires, 5th is useless except flat ground anyhow. (and the jeep only has 4 gears)

Well its good to hear you're busy, a lot of dealerships/techs are being laid off left and right with how cheap dealers are making it to buy new cars..

Yea, somehow our business is still going pretty good. Haven't had to many slow days even with the economy the way it is. Then again i'm not surprised seeing as how mercedes benz's are the biggest pieces of **** you can buy, so they are always broken. Good job security I suppose.

Looks like I won't be making the meet, I actually have to work this saturday.

Hi Randy!

Zach and I have been great! Zach got out of the military and is now working as an IT consultant for the Department of Defense. He works down the hall from where he used to work and is happily growing facial hair. We bought a house in Lincoln (5 minutes from our old house). We got an awesome deal due to all of the foreclosures (1916 SF house for $280K). I bought a new toy-an '08 Infiniti G37S Coupe. This car is AWESOME! So now we have 5 cars in our driveway/garage and our HOA doesn't approve of parking in the street. If anyone knows of someone looking to purchase an FD, let Zach or myself know...

The FC is staying with us, we have special plans for it .Good seeing you all are doing well.

Zach and Berry

It's good to see a post from one of you two and to know that everything is going well.

I have to comend you on your choice of new vehicles. The G37s is freakin sexy!

Love to buy your FD if I had the money, don't think you guys would sell it to me though. Seeing as how I would bastardize it :-D

P.S.- Home owners associations are super gay!

Hey guys I'm selling my 88 RE Amemiya basterdized 10th anniversary and my 87 TII. If anyone knows anyone looking let me know. The 87 is one I brought out to the meets (Black TII) with a blown motor. It's a project or parts car. The 10th Anny is really, really clean with a new streetported motor from Ben at Rotary Revolution. The rest of the mods are in the sig.

I have to sell all the 7's because i just a bought a Silverstone 2005 S2000. Just got sick of owning a modded car in CA. The smog laws and cops suck around here. I'll miss the 10th Anny, but I have to sell it

Costs more to fix em than they are worth now-a-days. They are literally big piles of crap, they ride like you're on clouds but other than that they have little redeeming qualities. The engine is clunky, transmission is funky/slushy, and they handle like ***.

Good luck though!

i i agree about theyre value not holding up but if you buy a used one they can be half the price of the msrp after a couple years. the new amg line up is pretty nice tho you have to admit. how come u didnt choose to work for a differnt automaker? like bmw or porsche?

I'll have to agree, my G37S is quite sexy and it has everything on it except the All wheel steering. It looks exactly like the one on the commercial/website. It's a nice change. As for bastardizing the FD, I am a purist when it comes to owning one, but I would never give someone a hard time for swapping engines in a vehicle they own. I figure you spent the money on it, you should be able to do whatever you want. Zach on the other hand...well, we all know how he feels

As for he avatar-it got picked up yesterday by it's new owner. I'm not allowed to say who bought it, just that it went to a very good home and I think it will be making an appearance at 7stock.

Nader, I honestly don't remember what I said about Mark's 10AE, but I'm sure it had something to do with blowing the engine , lol. I didn't know you had a GTUs. I used to have one back in SC...loved it!

Zach has been busy settling in his new job and training in mixed martial arts (the UFC stuff) and actually had a tournament today. He looks like a bruised turd most of the time but I'm getting used to it.

Are you guys planning any meets or get ogethers, we were going to do a housewarming but we're still unpacking
