So the Rx8 guys went out to Union Landing for some skateboarding and food at Texas Steakhouse. They just left their cars there so I thought I'd pull up on an empty spot and take a picture :P

(excuse the horrible quality. I had to stand in the middle of the street to take it with my phone that has a bad camera )

yeah, his headlights ARE broken, I told him at the Emmeryville meet but he gave me a reasonable excuse. Something is wrong and he only has high beams. He lowered them so the high beams don't offend/blind ppl.

I would like to hear the full reason behind this, low beams not working is likely a relay or the switch. Both can be found in any junk yard for cheap. If its a wiring problem then fix it? People would always tell me that when I tell them their car had broken headlights haha I don't really care, but if you reason is to look cool then go for it. No reason to hide it.

I didn't see that you picked up a second 10AE. Sell both the extra 10AE, scrap the project and finish your own 10AE project. Or put a 13B in the thing, not that truck motor. haha

My 10ae will be done once the damn body shop gives it back...all I need is some new rotors and pads. 240z = presmog = woooT for Cali. So I'm keepin that project. (Btw I've always wanted a 240z, but long story short some guy in OC lied to me when I was 16 and I paid for a plane ticket to find a 240z with a fried clutch so I wasted $200 in airfair) Which is how I bought my fc :P

EDIT: btw that truck engine will only cost me $1k complete, compared to finding a 13b..and if I got the 13b I'd wanna put a monster turbo on it then standalone etc etc...at least with the rb20 I'll keep in my mind "if you wanted more power you shoulda bought the rb26" and not mod it too much lol Far future if smog issues arise I may put my fc into ls1 status and bar it then throw the rotary powerplant into the Z.

well, when you're done and have a job you can buy more.

How much did the books cost?

Are there books at the library on Reserve or something?

Hey if you were serious about buying my Z I'd possibly consider selling it. I don't think I should have 2 projects and can't sell my baby just yet ><; haha

I would but 2 of the classes required a online access kit and stuff which was like 50 bucks just for a cd.

ouch. Next time fin a partner and split the cost. Make sure it's not a goof off and lives close or can meet on the same days. Worst case scenario: Make a copy of the CD.

Gotta look for ways to save.

same here.

I always drive in the slow lane around 55. Let the crazy ppl drive fast in the rain, I'm not about to crash because they wanna go fast.

I know how horrible it is to make a fast stop/evasive maneuver in the wet at hwy. speeds. Not FUN! Slow and steady on the freeway.

Anyone going to make it to thunderhill?? They'll have the skidpad open for anything. If it's wet then it's great, SAFE practice time to push the 7 in the slippery track.

Yes and no...I'm also saving....

I went on a little spending spree over the holidays. Bought coilovers, a PS3 and a 40" Samsung HDTV, a new car stereo/speakers and an Akai MPC1000 drum machine/sampler sequencer....

Roughly 3500 bucks worth of ****...but hey...why not eh?

Im on the saving spree now though.

BTW, Brian....where's my job?
