[QUOTE=rspeed9i6;7259620]
but yea as far as the cop thing...i can agree with both zach and chris...yes alot of cops are a buncha a-holes...stereotyping me as a "street racer" because i have a muffler...or its too low..while at the same time i was totally obeying every speed and traffic law...when i see all these loud, garbage pushrod engines runnin around being stupid...yet they dont get pulled over as much as my lil rotary does...but then again, cops are doing their job...they wouldnt be stereotyping us if there wasnt anything to base off of....such as those stupid ff ricers and their stoplight street races....or those ignorant so called "drifters" gassing it around corners at busy intersections....so i really cant help being stereotyped by cops...but i do know one thing..cops will usually be less of an *** if u just cooperate with them...i hate cops just as much as any1 else ...but wut can i do in my position u know?....

Hi Randy!
I couldn't have said that better myself. In addition, aren't we stereotyping police officers by saying they are all lazy pieces of **** that have nothing better to do than eat doughnuts and harass import owners. Believe it or not, there are a lot of honorable police officers that do their job just like there are good sports car owners, who aren't looking for trouble or breaking the law but how do you distinguish the two? I have been in the fortunate position to never have had to deal with an ******* cop, in fact most have been helpful and every ticket I've recieved have been justified. Of course, I have always been fully cooperative just like I would want them to be with me if I were to call them for assistance. I don't know, maybe I'm a little biased because one of my relatives was a police officer (and a good one) and he was killed for no reason by someone who most likely had a bad experience with other police officers. Anyway, I'm not here to start internet arguments. Sorry for dragging it out again.
Jake,
Nice times at the track. I hate to admit it, but I think your new car suits you better than the FD. But I still like my sexy RX better .

So I drive a Honda now o.o haha
Hows everybody doing? I am settled enough and ready to go to some meets now in the civic ha ha .
and to the whole cops being a holes, yeah most cops are but you have to consider all the crap they have to go through on a daily basis. Sometimes its unreasonable but for the most part they do their job. From my experience if you don't treat the cop like crap you'll be fine. There are a few exceptions like with my older brother and his old integra but that thing was cursed.

Good to see you posting on here again Mutaku. Bring the Civic out to the meets, we all know that you'll pick up another 7 as soon as you can.
Jackie, good luck with selling off your current setup. And boo to you for going LS1. Nah, it's your car bro so best of luck with it.

I have one either hiding around up here in Chico or down in Fremont, when do you need it by?
Could get one at a pick n pull in Sac, there is also an S4 base model in Oroville that you could probably get an alt from. There were a couple of things I was going to pull off it as well.

**** I think my transmission is about to take a **** on me. Lately its been having this problem where I just can't get into gear. And before that I was getting this grinding/crackling sound like two pieces of crumpled up foil being rubbed together, when I would be at a stop with the clutch in.
I hope its just the throwout bearing. Anyone close to Ben have an NA FC tranny? =P

What year civic? I just picked up a 96 hatch for commuting to college. It's alright, black and dumped. Can't complain with 36MPG highway. It has this annoying RSR coffee can I'm about to take off. Who puts exhaust on a stock SOHC D16 motor? I just got done looking at 115 pages of "post your hatchback pics" thread and there are some clean EKs, I have a feeling i'm going to be putting some money into pimpin this civic out. I need to do something big to the FC to make me want to keep it, maybe coilovers and 17s... but I won't have enough money for that for a long time

Hopkins. Your IDS went out today. I had bass troubles Sat morning and could not get it out.
I had two gigs on Sunday, one at 2:00, one at 4:00. Same place, different bands. My bass started to cut out Friday night at rehearsal. Turns out it was my Barrel Jack which I figures out Saturday night. Input for the chord on the bass. They did not have one at the local music store. I was in a shitty spot. Soooo. I looked over and noticed a 5 string Musicman Stingray Bass. I said, "If you can finance that for me for 12 months no interest and get me outta here in 25 minutes, it is sold"...... Well, there it is below. My new addition. :0)
