Got my gauge cluster back together today and pulled the codes. Nothing really significant, it pulled a 6 (speedo sensor) and 16 (EGR) both which cleared themselves after I installed the cluster and reset the ECU. As of right now there are absolutely no codes, although my buzzer/add coolant light does go on (and stays on) after about 10 second of turning ingition to ON. I think that may be the gauge itself, because I know the coolant level is fine. Going to try swapping out with the other one I have to see if that takes care of that annoyance.

Regarding the boost issue, it starts right around 3500-3700RPM in any gear above 1st. I was actually able to get it to do the same hesitation thing in 1st gear but @ around 4500 RPM.

I'll try tinkering with it a bit more, test solenoids, etc. but if I have to go through all that again I may be doing a non-sequential conversion here pretty soon. The seq. system is already starting to get on my nerves and I've driven the car maybe 3 miles.

or heck, I'll give someone $100 if they can fix this boost issue. heh

Hey everyone. V2.0 is nice. Only ten pages. Just letting you all know I found this on CL tonight. Maybe someone might want to jump on it. An Rx8 engine and tranny for 500 sounds like a scam but it might be worth checking out
http://sacramento.craigslist.org/pts/331773487.html

Also there is an autocross on the 26th and 27th. It's been since march that I've done any racing so I'm dying to get out on course. Since my close call with overheating the engine at Laguna Seca I've been dealing with cooling problems on all fronts. I just got my mazdatrix package today with a new thermostat so I may be able to get this car running cool again. Here are the pages for rounds 3 and 4. If you have any classification questions feel free to pm me. I'll be running in STS2 for the year and I may have a chance of winning the group, that is if none of you come to challenge J/K cant you tell I'm trying to stoke the fire?

I'm in the market for some fixed head rest FC seats. Condition is not important as long as most of the polyurethane foam is intact. I'm gonna try my hand at reupholstering. PM me. I'll do 80-100 for both seats if you got 'em depending on overall condition

I'm pretty much a natural BOSS at Halo 3... Don't want to get cocky but I usually have the highest score on my team. Probably won't last long once everyone gets used to Halo 3.

Going through mazda withdrawls,

Have been in vegas for a month now almost, with all my cars in Nor Cal

I have been back and forth with NY/NY for a sweet position, expense account, full comp priviledges, the works. I just couldnt find anything in my neck of the woods for what I do.

If I get it you guys will have to look me up when you come here. I will still keep my house in Oroville and come back and forth mostly on weekends.

I know it is aways out, but will start working on hotel hookups for 7 stock. I have a lock on one place for next to nothing but it is 20 miles away. It would be cool to get more people in one place this year. If i get with NY/NY I can see what doors I can open there for Irvine Hotels.

As I wait for this gig to go through, I may need sell a low mile FD motor I bought for my 93. I paid 900 for it from another member of the forum and its history can be tracked back. Smeagle currently has it at his place, last time I checked it came in handy for project crispy. If anyone is interested let me know.

Halo definitely has a nice look to it on an HD setup. I have never been a huge fan of the series in general as I have always been a counter-strike player. However I think they did a decent job with the higher resolution textures/water particle effects (as far as an upgrade... I have seen better jobs at all of this..) . Just as a game at times these maps are feeling a little too big for the amount of people in there. They could be hoping to squeeze more people into the maps in the end which would work... but they will need to get a handle on the network side of things. Hence the beta I am sure.

My only real rant about the game is they could really use some tweaking of the weapons, they are not balanced very well in my opinion.

All of these games are designed for a nice HD TV. It really won't look any better on a regular TV/display.

option #2 , Does anybody have some 17" rims with +40 or less offset for sale?

I could put on some spacers but I was told I will need deep socket lugs and there will always be a little shaking in the steering that you cant get rid of? Is this true? I dont kknow...

either way I am going to be spending hundreds of dollars. Thanks Tom
Tom,

IIRC, Karack has a set of HKS coilovers sitting in his shop for sale. You should get a hold of him to see if he still has them or not. Or you could talk to him at the meet today.

jgrts, the NorCal and SoCal guys don't have a problem with each other. We just like to give each other a hard time every chance we get. But you CentCal guys are all fooked up.

Thanks Boosted, I actually just bought some coilovers the other day from one of the Vacaville guys. It sucks that I put so much effort to install coilovers, riims/tires, audio system and a/c in a rush to make it in time for the berryessa run and could make it afterall!!!! I will catch the next one.

Thanks again

So is everyone back from the drive. When we got back to cherry glen rd. I had to take off so I went left. I hope the guy with the VS body kit didn't get lost because we left him and a couple others at the market.

Ya we all ended up finding each other and cruising up Napa and spanish flats. It was a fun cruise with a pretty nice turnout. Too bad they had to close down the road to Berryessa the one day we have a cruise.

Halo 3 is good and bad. I agree the wepon system is not balanced. I hate spawning with the ar. On maps like valhalla that wepon is useless. Also with the right wepons, for me sniper/BR I can ussually hold out the whole other team by myself for several minutes. Untill the sniper runs out of bullets.

Bungie has said that everything about the gme is very beta. The grafics will be greatly improved on the final luanch as well as the destructability of the map. At this point the game is finished and all the time left is just making it pretty untill it releases Sep. 25.

The run looks like it was awsome I wish I could have made it. whos veilside kited FD was that. Is he on here or what? How did it look in real life better than the pics or worse?
