Paul is moving at the moment. They won't be back up for another 2-3 months in terms of taking on large projects. They're still open.

I don't really trust anyone else in the bay area other than Paul at Rotorsport. There are a few other shops that I know people frequent, but I don't think any are as good.

I've heard decent things about http://www.ricksrotary.com/
The FD that I picked up was rebuilt at http://www.theshopsanbruno.com/ however there were a few problems that surfaced as a result of the rebuild. Not super stoked about my recent compression test results with the rebuilt motor only being 20k miles in. Also when they dropped in the engine, the whole thing sat incorrectly which wore down the motor mounts.

I'm located in Central Cal at the moment and was trying to get a hold of Paul, New client and have some projects for him, It's been three weeks and haven't got a returned phone call. I just sent an email and have been talking to Judy but no one will give me a response or an idea of when they'll take an appointment. Heard great things but this wait just to get a hold of him is getting crazy. If he's getting that many clients then I take it as a good thing.

There's quite a few in there, although the thread is about 5 years old so some of them might have moved or closed down by now.

Just letting you know, Ricks Rotary will charge an arm and a leg for a rebuild (they quoted me 6500 for my FC to be rebuilt and couldnt even tell me if they would use new rotor housings until they saw the condition of mine)... Rotorsport wont be much cheaper either... I heard there was a Rotary performance shop in Santa Cruz, but i completely forgot the name of it. I stumbled across it once on google by chance...

that shop isn't a shop, it is Chris Greene from Rotary planet(doing side jobs out of the shop that he works at from what i heard). avoid it like the plague.

used to be a good tech, a great one actually until his meltdown, drug use, eviction(s) and now... save yourself the headache. glad i never got mixed up with him, he was trying to get me to do some sort of business trade work back when he was still in sacramento just a few months before his **** hit the fan.
