Details: We are off to the track. The So-Cal RX Club will attend the 3rd round of the Grand-Am Cup road race series, to help support the Mazda Factory RX-8 effort. So come out and join us cheer for Rotary Power!!
JUST ADDED!! Courtesy of Mazda, the So-Cal RX Club will be getting an exclusive lunch time tour and Q&A session with the SpeedSource Grand-Am Championship winning RX-8 ST Team. Please come and join us!!

Notes: Grand American Heads to California Speedway
The Rolex Sports Car Series and the Grand-Am Cup Series advance to California Speedway for the third race of the season on April 1-3, 2005.
General Admission tickets for the road course event are available for $20 on Saturday (Grand-Am Cup 200 event and Rolex qualifying). A three-day pass is also available for $45. Children 12 and under, when accompanied by a paying adult, are free. Every ticket is general admission with infield seating and access into the garage area.
Tickets for the Grand American Road Racing (April 1-3) are available online or by calling 1-800-944-RACE (7223). The club is attending on Saturday April 2nd.

Who is going? I'm in.
If the 3 rotor Rx8 shows up we can see it on Saturday April 2nd for practice in the morning and qualifing in the afternoon.

Just orderd tickets, pickup @ willcall.
GF and I will be REPUing there Saturday. Are we going to meet @ mall beforehand.
Anyone remotely interested can see the cool coil-overs I installed on the front, front is lowered 13/16".

Wasn't worth the trip. Get there 4.5 hours before racing starts and only get 3 runs. PLUS they want street cars, registered and insured. My 7 has neither.
I'll try LACR next month, sounds like a better deal and hopefully less rice.
