Hate to see him standing on the side of the road with a F**k up motor. the cruise was pretty cool there was a accident right at the entrance to the 133 was bad. Hey chris get your car fixed so you can keep up next time lol.

I know leon, it was "Escort Chris home after the meet" I only had to drive about 4 minutes by myself.
And I know I need to kevin, I was puttsing along. So FRIDAY I will have nothing to do with El Vibe-o or vibrations of any matter.
I am taking the 88 to RR&R on monday morning. That means (dun dun DUH; dramatic pause) I will be driving one my 7's again! No more VIB[E]rations for me!!

Yeah sunday was fun. Can't wait until the next meet. I should have the 88 all fine by then. Louie said that it was the front counterweight because he took the front cover off and said it was free spinning. I'm on my way to go talk to him right now.

Ok. So history of the car:
Older woman (late 40's) was the original owner of the car. She new nothing about it except that it was pretty and it was a rotary. She didnt know what a rotary was but it was her dream car back in the day. So, late October of '07 she goes to teach her daughter to drive it, and it doesnt run right. So in mid November she takes it to a shop called Autowise in Lake Forest/Irvine. The guy that was working on it claimed to know what he was doing and convinced her and her husband to let him work on it. They initially took it in for a "tune up" because it would not start. I later figured out it was due to a clogged pre-cat. Back to the story, The guy is a lazy P.O.S. he installed a new water pump and he did not remove all four pullies individually, instead he removed the 19mm center nut (that holds the keyway ofcourse) installed the new water pump, does not bolt the bottom air pump braket on causing that bracket, the a/c, and ps brackets to breakdue to the counterweight not spinning properly. He jacked my f*cking alternator bracket, a SINGLE lug nut and on top of that he left a 12mm and 13mm socket on my fender causing the hood to become slightly bent. So to conclude, Autowise needs to close down because they are horrible. He does have a personal FC of his that he used as a persuasion device. Kind of like "Oh I have one so I know everything" He has an 88 GTU with mudflaps and one of MY lug nuts. I am so tempted to go take my lug nut off and as a souvenier "borrow" his mud flaps forever and put them on my S5.
I am forced to fix this problem because it is a disturbance. I would have rebuilt the engine and avoided these problems completly but like Louie said it is soo strong. It still pulls as if it has just rolled off the lot (aside from the paint and vibrations). It has compression of 90 on the front (possibly slightly higher because of the counterweight) and 105 on the rear. It was babied all of its pre-Autowise life and once fixed it will again be babied due to its near-pristine nature. Now that it is in proper hands, it will be all better and on top of that it will make a hella clean DD.
---> My mom said that she may even buy it off me and drive it to work instead of our suburban!
