im still kinda iffy on cutting the springs..... from that kat a-drift his car drifted pretty decently on cut springs..... but iono...... i had the suspension class take off the rear sway bar tho.

DO NOT HEAT YOUR SPRINGS...its not safe at all..doing so causes the spring to become unstable and is prone to collapsing. you dont want to be driving while that happens trust me.

your better off with stock springs than cut/heated springs. cutting/heating is already damaging now you want to add stress from drifting. not only that the spring rebound will be all fucked up which will probably cause you to spin out easily and cause unpredicable behaviors

well, I always go with just simply saving up...if your working of course. I sacrificed a good daily driver for parts money. Im glad I did tho, all the time, work and effort into my FC has kinda paid off...I can somewhat enjoy my car at small drift venues.

is there a reason why you need the offset to be 18 for drift tires/rims? If tires is the problem i can hook you up with used tires for cheap just let me know what sizes. if you need rims that fit the fc to drift that have good tires let me know i am getting rid of it for $60 17x7 w/ tires who knows what offset but they can be drifted on.

night ridaz I really hope your not trying to drive on cut springs, because for one it makes your springs weaker than what they were before they were cut and not only that I'm sure you can find a nice little street coilover kit for cheap or build some for verry cheap. I bought my KYB AGX's for like a bill and my Tein's that are on my car now for like $300, you should save your money and buy something good instead of doing something loony like cut springs. Just trying to help but you can do whatever you want.

for sho jason i'll take you up on the spare springs. i threw away my rear springs on my spare set not too long ago. idk about them being weaker. they will just heat up faster and be more prone to damage. don't trip yal the springs will only be temporary til i get coilover money. oh and jason its not so beginner friendly my homeboy already managed to mess up his car on the k-rail.
