I was lurking through zilvia and yay we have a new venue going on in Riverside! heres the copy paste.. I think I will go to this !! I want to try out a new track

INLAND DRIFT will host DRIFT AND MEET at Lake Perris Fairgrounds, Home of Southern California Fair. It is opened to public Friday and Saturday.


Drift Association will be drawing door prizes for the opportunity to get behind the wheel of their Drift 101 cars.


Drift hours: 10.00am – Sun Down

When: Saturday, April 25, 2009

Where: 18700 Lake Perris Dr, Perris, CA 92571

Price: $20.00/hour (all day pass available)

Spectator/Pit pass: $5.00 (Bleacher set next to drift track and pit area)


Please come 30 minute earlier for tech inspection, etc.
Basic tech Inspection below are required:

**Battery properly secured all terminal covered
**Engine compartment free of loose items (air filter, hoses, wires, etc)
**No fluid leaks
**No exposed wires
**Brake lights function properly (at least two red functioning brake lights)
**Seat properly mounted and secure
**Seatbelts function properly mounted and secured.
**Brake pads and rotors in good condition (min 40% thickness)
**Tires are road-worthy and safe (min 3/32 tread depth, no sidewall damage)
**Wheels and wheel bearings are tight and road worthy
**Windshield is free of cracks which might obstruct the driver's vision
**Helmet is SNELL certified M95 or SA95 or newer and free of damage
**No loose items in passenger compartment or trunk
**Roll bar in convertible cars is required

That's seems to be a little bit away from Riverside. Perris is a little south east. I was about to buy a summer home out there.. but that place is more empty then my stomach after a trip to the pooper.

sweeett we could all roll out to this one !! It should be alot easier and safer than adams. Its gunna be every friday and saturdays I heard.. But I will try to hit up their first event! on the 25th! Save your $$ guys get some tires lets do this !

 

I'll be there to support the track.....and i will try to get some rotorheads to go out there and represent.The organizer is one of my teachers/sponsor from drift association......see you all there.

 

yeah my homeboy stays out that way. he always bitches about me not making the trip to perris. now i can knock two birds out with one stone.

 

alrite lets make a list! so we can see how many of us are going this 25th! Il bring a canopy and some chairs and maybe the hookah bong so we could chill in, anyone down to bring a bbq grill??? !!

Austin I'll let you barrow wheels and Tyre's too! I'm broke your broke but one thing I do have is wheels. lol.
How come all the drift events are poppin out there all of a sudden?! I also didn't know Perris had a drift track I thought is was a 1/8 drag strip and a dirt bike track.

 

i cant wait to get some more practice in..cause i suck.

damn i missed out..........i was sent to drift at Las Vegas drift Saturday.This was a last minute change and did went to LV but with no New car yet,had to get a loner for LV.Track layout was pretty big......will post up some videos later.

 

nice looks like a fun track i think imma try this track next week
