Compression test read

Cold Test:

Rotor1 - 6.4kg, 6.0kg, 5.5kg @ 250rpm
Rotor2 - 5.6kg, 5.6kg, 6.4kg @ 251rpm

Hot Test:

Rotor1 - 4.0kg, 3.6kg, 4.1kg @ 234rpm
Rotor2 - 4.6kg, 4.9kg, 4.3kg @ 268rpm

I need a rebuild obviously. I am in Norcal and I am trying to figure out what kind of reputable builders we have in the Bay Area.

I have called/PM/left a voicemail for Ben/Karack but have yet to hear back from him. I know that he has at least a month and a half wait until he could even get to my car for a rebuild so I'm trying to schedule one ASAP.

My question is though, are there any other builders around the area that I could call and possibly bring my car to? Rick @ Rick's Rotary did the build for the previous owner and it produced these compression numbers after 2000 miles but is likely the previous owners fault as we believe he didn't break the engine in. I also know a Paul from Rotorsport. Anyone else?

I just texted him, we will see if he gets back to me. I know he has a long waiting list, so I'm just trying to get him to add me to that list so it doesn't keep growing as time goes on.

What kind of prices do Lucky7 charge? If needed, I may drive down and drop the car off, don't know how long it'd take them to do the work though.

I could also buy an already built engine and just have a shop swap it in (I don't think it's that much money to swap) and then sell the old engine (I have no idea how much a blown 2,000 mile engine with brand new housings would go for)

well there prices can very.... depeding on the damage of the rotors and housings...

yea i think a core motor from the dealership goes for around 2k??? for the short block??

why not swap in the motor your self?? its not to hard..

well depending what happened to the motor.. i would say keep it, take it apart, and see how bad it is because its always nice to have a spare motor lying around

or I can put in a LS1, Cam, head, gears, headers, full custom exhaust that will put down 500 hp and you should be good for the rest of your life.

Or I can Give you a 20b with a huge single turbo and make 1500+ hp and gobble you up! or I can make you 600hp reliable and save you money but both options would keep you rotary!

1500+ and will gobble.? , don't make me laugh you noob. Maybe the mods put on a three rotor may "sound" like it "support" 1500 hp, but never in my entire life have I heard any 3 rotor pushing 1500 as a fact. Quit kidding yourself. The only one, or as a matter of fact the only two 3 rotor that I've seen pushing close to 600-700hp was David Hayes kilo 3 rotor, and even Steve Kan the "best known rotary tuner god" can't even handle it and blew it not pushing over 700. The other one that is in the 600hp range was RedRx7 3 rotor that he sold to some kid in Cali. the kid couldn't handle that FD for shiet and attempted to sell it some years ago.
Please,... don't discuss horse power ranges with me when you can't back it up. Only true reliable high HP numbers can be found in a fucken piston engine. Now if you will excuse me, I need to go drive my Super Reliable 800hp vortech supercharger, Ls6 FD that I've had for the past 5 years with zero problems.

Thank You
